    Christian Benteke (82 mins)

Do not adjust your set! Palace have five, Christian Benteke has two, and it's another very good goal.

Nathaniel Clyne flies down the right and delivers a low cross, Michy Batshuayi steps over it and fellow Belgian Benteke lets it come across his body, swivels, and batters in a low left-footed shot.

    Confidence.

There shall be no hat-trick for Zaha today - he's hooked for Michy Batshuayi. Walking pace out there now.

I was hoping to get through a Palace live text without discussing whether Zaha will stay or go but there we have it. Thanks Neil.

Zaha the star of the show, convenient timing with the transfer window approaching!

Roy Hodgson perhaps wisely resting a few troops now, James McArthur and Jeff Schlupp get a breather and Jairo Riedewald and Jordan Ayew come on.

West Bromwich Albion 1-4 Crystal Palace

We may have joked that Christian Benteke is far from prolific but he's got 22 Premier League goals for Crystal Palace and is now in outright fourth place in the club's Premier League top scorers. He is one goal shy of Chris Armstrong in third place.

  9. goal

GOAL - West Bromwich Albion 1-4 Crystal Palacepublished at 13:28 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2020

    Wilfried Zaha (68 mins)

That's another really good goal! Palace are enjoying themselves out there. Ebe Eze runs at the Albion defence, plays a neat one-two with the aforementioned Christian Benteke and as Kyle Bartley comes over to make a block/challenge, the ball runs kindly for Wilfried Zaha.

He pokes in from about eight yards with the outside of his boot.

West Bromwich Albion 1-3 Crystal Palace

Six goals in 82 games! Not a great scoring record for a right-back never mind a centre-forward. Christian Benteke has been good today though.

    Marcus:

How it started: Benteke's got six goals in 82 games. No wonder you're not sure if he's shooting or crossing. Dismal.

How it's going: And, of course, Benteke nets. Told you he was awful.

A true difference-maker. Palace could have a few more today if they want them, West Brom heads have rather understandably dropped a bit.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

West Bromwich Albion 1-3 Crystal Palace

Karlan Grant is gifted a break up front as Callum Robinson comes on for a rather thankless task.

That red card totally changed this game. Palace will be 11th but just three points behind Manchester United with a win here.

  15. goal

GOAL - West Bromwich Albion 1-3 Crystal Palacepublished at 13:19 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2020

    Christian Benteke (59 mins)

Palace have been superb since the start of the second half - with an extra man, admittedly - and they have a two-goal cushion.

Patrick van Aanholt charges inside the area on the underlap, he just about keeps the ball in and clips a cross into the six-yard box where even Christian Benteke can't miss with a little nod.

His third goal in his last 53 appearances.

Fourteen of Wilfried Zaha's last 20 Premier League goals have come away from home. What a player he can be on his day.

Basement club Sheffield United make one change to the XI that started in the 1-0 defeat by West Brom last week with midfielder Oliver Norwood dropping to the bench and John Lundstram coming in.

Sheff Utd XI: Ramsdale, Basham, Egan, Bryan, Baldock, Berge, Lundstram, Fleck, Lowe, McBurnie, Burke.

Subs: Sharp, Jagielka, Norwood, McGoldrick, Verrips, Osborn, Brewster.

Leicester revert to a familiar-looking starting XI having made several changes for Thursday's Europa League defeat by Zorya Luhansk.

Striker Jamie Vardy, midfielder Youri Tielemans, defender Jonny Evans and keeper Kasper Schmeichel, who were rested for that match, all return.

Defender Caglar Soyuncu who went off injured in the game in Ukraine with a recurrence of his groin injury is not included and neither is full-back Ricardo Pereira, who also made his long-awaited comeback in that match. However, midfielder Wilfred Ndidi does make the bench.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Fofana, Evans, Fuchs, Albrighton, Tielemans, Mendy, Justin, Perez, Maddison, Vardy.

Subs: Morgan, Ward, Iheanacho, Barnes, Under, Ndidi, Praet.

  18. goal

GOAL - West Bromwich Albion 1-2 Crystal Palacepublished at 13:15 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2020

    Wilfried Zaha (55 mins)

There it is! Crystal Palace totally deserve that lead, they've been plugging away and in the West Brom area more or less since the restart.

Albion just can't clear their lines, James McArthur feeds Wilfried Zaha on the left of the area and he does the rest. Quite brilliantly.

A touch inside on to his right foot and then a whipped, curling strike across the keeper and in.

Relentless game at the moment. Surely a goal is on the way.

Gary Cahill meets a corner, puts it across goal and Christian Benteke sees a piledriver charged down.

  20. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 54 mins

West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Crystal Palace

'Slo-mo shold be banned' is a superb line. Ha ha!

Half-hearted shouts for a pen for West Brom as Conor Gallagher goes over but Paul Tierney immediately gives it the swinging arms.

    No joy.
