    Fulham

Fulham manager Scott Parker on picking Mitrovic: "We come into a schedule of games, busy and hectic. We are using a squad to get through these moments - Mitro and Cairney come back in. I'm looking to freshen it up.

"I feel like we're moving in the right direction. This was a young team coming into the league. A whole bunch of new players coming in. There's no magic wand but there's been a lot of work gone in over the past three/four months. We're starting to look more resilient."

Big Sam should have held on for a bit.

    Big Ken, Runcorn

Arteta falling foul of being too keen. You see it a lot in rugby union, rookie manager gets big job and the players are so over-coached they can't make any decisions. He's improved defence and mentality, now needs to simplify things a bit to get attack going again. Or bye bye in the new year.

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Sky Sports: "There's only 2k of them in [fans] but you can hear they are happy. We dug in to a man, we didn't panic and took our chances.

"Yerry Mina is a massive threat in the air, if the delivery is on the money he'll score. We targeted the near post, that's where their weakness is and we got a goal from it.

"There's more to come from me, I am learning my craft. I want to be consitent week in week out."

Woodz: Mad to think about how many Arsenal players would actually get into Everton's team... Everton. That's why they're struggling.

Finally Jordan Pickford is called into action!

Arsenal thread a cracking ball in from the right which goes right across the goalmouth, it comes back in and Bukayo Saka puts in a cross/shot from the left which Pickford beats out with a wrist.

    Finally some proper late pressure...

Lots of 'oh no, poor Arsenal', Everton have survived the entire Premier League, generally in mediocrity. Love that they are probably heading for 2nd!

    Scott, Everton fan obvs

Not sure how likely a scenario it is, but if Brighton, Burnley and Fulham were to win their games in hand over Arsenal, the gunners will be in the relegation zone.

Taking off your young energetic striker and replacing him with someone who couldn't currently hit a cow's bottom with a banjo. Arteta seems a really decent man, but I think his time is up.
