  1. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

A header for Harry Maguire against his old team, but the United skipper, who got up ahead of Wesley Fofana, can't keep his header down following Luke Shaw's deep free-kick from the left.

  2. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

Victor Lindelof is walking very, very slowly around the pitch. An injury United could do without, especially with games against Wolves on Tuesday and then Aston Villa on Friday coming up in the next week.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 66 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

A forced change for United as Victor Lindelof hobbles off and Azel Tuanzebe comes on to take over the right-back role.

  4. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

Both teams are going for the win here. This one could go either way. It's going to be a frantic last 26 minutes.

Thomas Knights: To say Martial has been poor today would be very generous, non-existent would be more accurate, so little energy or movement or desire.

Paul: Once again Fred and James are showing that they have no business pulling on the Manchester United shirt. Absolutely woeful.

As a united fan, I just can't see how Daniel James is ever going to make it for the club. Lacks confidence but also lacks strength and final ball. It seems pace is the only offering but with no end product.

  6. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 62 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

Manchester United have the ball in the net, through Anthony Martial, who had been one-on-one with Kasper Schmeichel, but the flag is up.

A VAR check confirms the Frenchman had gone too early and it's still 1-1. Still, it was a tidy finish from Martial, but it counts for nothing.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 60 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

Manchester United counter at pace and Marcus Rashford, with just Kasper Schmeichel to beat, hits it with pace from 15 yards out.

But it is a brilliant save from the Leicester keeper, with him making a stunning one-handed save. Wonderful.

  8. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

Harvey Barnes with the cross, David de Gea comes for it and completely misses it, but United get away with it and only concede a corner, which comes to nothing.

  9. YELLOW CARD - Maddison (Leicester)published at 55 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

A cynical trip from behind from James Maddison on Bruno Fernandes gets the yellow card it deserved.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 55 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

We just mentioned Paul Pogba and he's the first change, with Daniel James heading off for United.

  11. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

But the jumping United wall does its job as Marcus Rashford gets his head to it to flick it away for a Leicester corner. Maddison had struck it well.

David Irvine: lots of criticism about Manchester United so far and lots of 'love' for Leicester. Can we not just see how the 2nd half pans out?

Syed Nadeem: Leicester City to score first in second half, then ManUtd to score 2 .. We are United, we have to make it hard for ourselves as always, it's in our DNA

  13. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

Eric Bailly gets called out for a handball and it's just outside the penalty area. Dangerous moment for United fans. James Maddison looks very interested with this free-kick.

  14. Postpublished at 48 mins

No changes from either manager so far. Kelechi Iheanacho and Ayoze Perez are among the options for Brendan Rodgers with Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani potential game-changers for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

As it stands, Leicester will remain one point ahead of Manchester United in second, although Chelsea and Everton can move above them both if it's a draw at the King Power and then they win their matches against Arsenal and Sheffield United respectively.

Olaide: Ndidi work rate, his positioning and simple play in that Leicester team wow.... proud of him

Jesse Mutua: At last Bruno Fernandes luck has run out. He keeps giving the ball away in every game.

Lawro2011: It's another one of those for Man Utd. They have worked out our midfield, our strikers are nervous, and three at the back never works. But this is a different United, so today I'm backing us to win!

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2020

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

Marcus Rashford, who missed an early header, put United ahead but it was quickly cancelled out by Harvey Barnes' superb 20-yard strike.

A very lively 45 minutes. A good start to today's football.
