Leicester are so so poor at defending. This could be as embarrassing as last Boxing Day.

That assist from Fernandez was as precise and delicate as a snooker shot.

Needless to say, that early injury scare for David de Gea has not got any worse and he's still out there.

    Leicester City 1-1 Manchester United

Marc Albrighton has a chance from outside the area, takes it on to his left foot and hits it well, but it strikes team-mate Jamie Vardy and bounces clear.

MillsysView: Probably a little poor positioning from De Gea there

PJ: That was too much space afforded to Barnes to get his shot away. McTominay should've closed him down much sooner!

Uncle Busby: Why on Earth is Fernandes trying to meg the Leicester midfielder 15 yards outside his own box? Silly from a player of such quality. Momentum switch here

John: Fred, James and Maguire are so wasteful in possesion will never be top players

    Harvey Barnes (Leicester)

    Leicester aren't behind any more!

What a strike from Harvey Barnes.

Bruno Fernandes, who got the assist for United's goal, is the one who gives the ball away 30 yards out, robbed by Wilfred Ndidi.

James Maddison then slides it to Barnes and, with no United man closing him down, sends in a low stunning shot from 20 yards out and it storms into the net. 1-1.

Leicester are yet to have a shot on target, despite having more of the ball. But they are the ones behind.

Altaf Shaikh: Great finish that one by Rashford, and that was a harder chance than the first one!!

James Beswick: Just the sort of goal I want to see Rashford scoring more of, lovely anticipation and ice cold finish

PJ: GOAL! Finally...Rashford making amends there for missing that sitter earlier on.

    Marcus Rashford

He missed one earlier on, but now Marcus Rashford has his goal, with a calm finish from 10 yards out with only Kasper Schmeichel to beat.

Daniel James had played the ball in but Bruno Fernandes, on the stretch, got a vital touch to send the ball away from the Leicester defenders and into Rashford's path and this time he does the rest.

Shane O'Neill: If I was to describe Rashford in one word. Infuriating!

Manutdupdates: There is no way a striker should miss that. An England international for that matter. Probably, Rashford just remembered that @ManUtd, external have to concede first before they score in away games.

Altaf Shaikh: What a sitter for Rashford. Unbelievable... You've got to out them away, bread and butter.

We hoped this would be good and this has been a very entertaining start to today's marathon of football. Still goalless, though.

Now David de Gea appears to be struggling with a back injury from that back pass incident. Dean Henderson starts warming up. One to monitor.

  17. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Leicester City 0-0 Manchester United

Nearly a disaster at the back for David de Gea, who takes a heavy touch when the ball is passed back to him. It falls for Marc Albrighton and he pulls the ball back but luckily for De Gea, Fred is there for an important goal-saving intervention.

Jamie Vardy then looks to have broken through and can only shoot wide, but it wouldn't have mattered as he was then flagged offside.

  18. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Leicester City 0-0 Manchester United

Another chance for United, this time for Anthony Martial but the Frenchman, shooting from outside the box, can't get enough power into it and it is the easiest save Kasper Schmeichel will make all day.

  19. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Leicester City 0-0 Manchester United

And a chance for Leicester not long after. A great start to the game. James Justin sends in a cross from the right wing and Jamie Vardy, under pressure, can only send it wide.

If it carries on like this, it's going to be an incredible game.

  20. WHAT A MISS!published at 2 mins

    Leicester City 0-0 Manchester United

England centre-forward Marcus Rashford just has to score. It's a lovely chipped delivery into the box by Bruno Fernandes and Rashford is on his own six yards out but somehow sends his header over the top.

    Shocking miss.
