Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho, speaking to Sky Sports: "One point against Wolves normally wouldn't be a bad result because they are a strong opponent. But scoring in the first minute and having 89 minutes to score more, there's a sense of felling frustrated.

"I know the way I prepare the team, I know all that and don't want to say much more than that. We didn't have that ambition or desire to go for more.

"You know the way I work."

Asked what his side need to do more, Mourinho added: "It's not for me to talk to you about it. I know my team and my players better than anyone."

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho to BBC Sport: "I don't know if we deserved more than a point. We had the best thing that can happen to a team which is to score in the first minute. We had control of the game and conceded from a corner. We had 89 minutes to score more goals and we didn't.

"It is very disapointing, it is like against Liverpool where you control dangerous players for 90 minutes and concede from a set-piece.

"Tanguy Ndombele had a good game when he had energy. I didn't want us to sit deep, I put Bergwijn on for Reguilon, a fresh Lamela for a tired Son.

"Defending deep, that's not the intention. They know what I asked them at half-time, if they couldn't do better it's beacause they couldn't do better."

Wolves

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo, speaking to Sky Sports: "I think we performed really well. We played a good game and were very intense and very aggressive against a dangerous side.

"It's a learning process. We demand focus from the start and we know the edge is not there with no fans. It happens and you have to react.

"We stayed in the game and defended well. We have a squad of young players that we trust. We are trying to build a good team."

"We didn't have the ambition to go for more," says Jose Mourinho.

Wolves

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo to BBC Sport: "It was a tough game, a difficult game that started very badly for us. We conceded in the first minute and that requires a lot of character. We played a good game after that.

"We were always chasing Tottenham, it was hard work. We didn't concede many chances and we had good spells in the game.

"It was good to have Raul Jimenez here, nice to have him around and see that he is improving. We have players, young players we want to support. We trust them."

Spurs have dropped nine points in 2020-21 with goals conceded in the last 10 minutes of matches, the most of any side in the Premier League.

Some good news for Tottenham, they are back in the top six tonight. It's been a good couple of days for Everton, who host Manchester City tomorrow night.

Spurs are not going to win the league playing like they played this evening and being that negative. That's a fact.

Tottenham defender Matt Doherty to Sky Sports: "It's very frustrating, such a late goal and from a set-piece again. We were only 1-0 up so it has cost us two points, we are not happy about it.

"There is more to come from us, we attack together, we defend together. It is up to all of us to get up the pitch. We knew how tough it would be and they didn't prove us wrong.

"It's a missed opportunity. We needed to win the game and we backed ourselves to see it out even though we didn't play that well."

Wolves

Wolves defender Romain Saïss, speaking to Sky Sports: "We conceded a poor goal. It's harder when you are playing a team like Tottenham to come back when you do that but I think we deserved more.

"Fabio Silva knows he has to improve and impress and I am sure he is going to score a lot of goal for this club.

"We were a bit surprised because they played with a different shape. I think we controlled the game except the first minute. We have to be consistent all the 90 minutes."

Amar Ali: Who would have thought this morning that the only team to win today would have been Leeds

Dan D: Terrible calls from Jose with the subs there. Surely he must realise that we aren't capable of defending a one goal lead, particularly from set plays. You expect any manager to change things up now but it's becoming repetitive and I'm losing patience.

Tottenham were better in the first half but Wolves were far better in the second. Tottenham didn't go on and push for the second goal but you have to give credit to Wolves.

Since the start of 2018-9, only Liverpool (45) and Man Utd (44) have won more PL points from losing positions than Wolves (40).

Two points dropped for Spurs, but you'd be a hard taskmaster to say Wolves didn't deserve at least one.
