  1. 'Wolves are missing Jimenez'published at 19:28 Greenwich Mean Time 27 December 2020

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It has been a good start from Tottenham and Wolves have not got their big players into it at the moment. They're missing Raul Jimenez and when he is fit he is a perfect number nine.

It will be interesting to see if come January Wolves buy someone.

Daniel Podence now in the wars as Davinson Sanchez stands on his Achilles. A painful one but nothing to worry about.

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

It's so good as a neutral to see Adama Traore back in the Wolves side and he does brilliantly to come in from the rught, work a gap between two Spurs defenders and juke past a third.

He lays it off to Daniel Podence and he can't get a shot away first time. By the time he does shoot the connection is tame nad straight at Hugo Lloris.

It is a back four from Wolves tonight by the way, and a back three from Spurs. Role reversal.

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

That is the third time this season Tottenham have been involved in a game that has featured a first-minute goal.

It didn't do Manchester United much good against them at the start of the season and whilst Tottenham scored three against West Ham, the visitors fought back to claim a point.

I wonder what reception Matt Doherty would have got tonight? I'm predicting applause when his name was read out, dogs' abuse now as he goes down in a dangerous area.

Son whips in the free-kick and Wolves look edgy but get it out.

  8. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

The goal was officially timed at 57 seconds, by the way. It's the earliest Premier League goal scored from outside the box since Kenedy netted after 39 seconds for Chelsea v Norwich in March 2016.

But you all knew that I'm sure.

Wolves come alive from the restart and flash a very dangerous ball across the penalty area. This will do if they can keep this up between them...

    Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

A good start. Ben Davies did well to keep it alive. Ndombele is a great player and I'm always annoyed when Jose takes him off.

We wanted an early goal and Wolves will have to come out. Rui Patricio will be disappointed as it went in the middle of the goal, but there were bodies in front of him.

Tanguy Ndombele takes aim and blasts one in from 25 yards! Should Rui Patricio have done better though?

The prolific Harry Kane has scored nine Premier League goals this season; his next strike will see him become just the fourth Englishman to reach double figures in seven consecutive Premier League campaigns, after Michael Owen (97-98 to 03-04), Frank Lampard (10 between 03-04 and 12-13) and Wayne Rooney (11 between 04-05 and 14-15).

That's not a bad run is it?

    Here come Spurs.

Light show at Molineux - looks fantastic doesn't it? Pity there's nobody in. Even Jose seems to be enjoying it from a perch in the stand.

Who are favourites to win this one tonight?

Wolves are the third team in Premier League history to start with seven players of the same, non-English, nationality, with seven gents from Portugal in the XI tonight.

Newcastle had seven French players against Liverpool on 19 October 2013 and Fulham also had seven French players against Middlesbrough on 16 August 2003.
