A brilliant move from Brighton - very patient and Maupay with a terrific strike on the turn.

The move down the left was impressive. Dan Burn got to the byeline and put in a good cross, hard and low, and it was a great finish.

This is the correct score as Brighton have been by far the better side. There's no flow for West Ham.

Handsome Nick: Surely Moyes needs to make some changes at half-time? A back five with three defensive minded midfielders at home against Brighton. If the fans were there they would be making their displeasure known.

Danny Welbeck makes another good run in behind. It's just that final ball lacking for Brighton.

Story of their season so far, really.

Ooooh. The curling ball in from Leandro Trossard is decent and if Danny Welbeck gets there, it's a tap-in from a few yards out.

Vladimir Coufal does excellent though, using his body to shield it from Welbeck and calling for the keeper to grab it.

Solly March beats Vladimir Coufal for pace on the left and makes a great run in behind.

He's on his own though - Danny Welbeck doesn't bust a gut to get there - and he can only smash it into the side-netting from a tight angle.

March isn't happy with his team-mates.

West Ham are so deep.

Adam Webster is allowed to run as far as he wants and invited to shoot. He does but ends up hitting it straight into Danny Welbeck.

David Moyes is not a happy man. Conversations have to be had between the West Ham midfield and the back line. The back line are playing too deep.

When you watch Brighton this season, they are three or four points down on where they should be.

Danny Welbeck to Adam Webster and onto Dan Burn... His shot is deflected wide by Fabian Balbuena.

Another corner to Brighton but it's dealt with comfortably by Balbuena and then Declan Rice.

Terry Lambert: Moyes' team selection has baffled every West Ham supporter. It’s shockingly bad.

Danny Welbeck gets in behind Aaron Cresswell. He tries to pull it back but Angelo Ogbonna is there to poke it out for a corner.

Leandro Trossard lifts it into the box and Adam Webster gets there but his header is straight at the keeper.

Declan Rice sprays it out wide. It comes into Jarrod Bowen and he links up with Rice again.

It comes over to Ben Johnson on the left but he skews the cross. That was better in the build-up from West Ham.

Brighton have dominated the ball and are playing with so much confidence. West Ham are giving Brighton too much respect.

This game very much feels like the "returning to work after Christmas" game. It's not been great.

Brighton have dominated possession. Absolutely nothing of note though.

So far Angelo Ogbonna is dealing with Danny Welbeck. He comes out on top in the right corner and young Ben Johnson is able to carry it up to the halfway line.
