    Leeds 1-0 Burnley

The hosts are finding space around the edge of the Burnley box and this time it opens up for Rodrigo to have a pop, though his effort is easy for Nick Pope to collect.

Jack Harrison then sends Raphinha in behind but the midfielder nods wide. He might have been offside anyway.

It's a dangerous, in-swinging delivery but Illan Meslier comes through a crowd of bodies to punch clear. Good goalkeeping.

    Leeds 1-0 Burnley

Leeds are looking for quick transitions from defence to attack, but the ball into Patrick Bamford is not good enough this time.

And that's a cheap foul from Stuart Dallas on Erik Pieters at the other end. Another chance for Burnley to deliver...

    Leeds 1-0 Burnley

With that penalty, Patrick Bamford is the third English player to reach 10 goals in the Premier League this season, after Jamie Vardy and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

I've never seen Nick Pope so animated and it was so simple from Leeds and they will be delighted.

Luke Ayling knocked a long and direct ball, through the centre halves and Patrick Bamford was through. From our angle I thought it was a penalty but seeing it again I can see why Pope was angry and it looked a good tackle.

It was a terrific penalty from Bamford - high, powerful and into the back of the goal.

Leeds go searching for a second as Raphinha scampers across the top of the box and slides a clever ball into the path of Ezgjan Alioski, who fires over from the left.

    The hosts looking lively.

    Patrick Bamford

No mistake from Patrick Bamford from the spot.

He wins the penalty and then steps up to side-foot it into the top corner with his left foot.

Lovely strike, and the perfect start for Leeds.

    Nightmare for Nick Pope!

He comes rushing out and brings down Patrick Bamford.

VAR will have a look but that's one of the more obvious decisions you'll see.

This is the strongest teams both have got available. The early exchanges are exactly what we see. From kick-off, it went back to James Tarkowski and he knocked it forward for Chris Wood to get the flick on.

Leeds got the ball and tried to attack crisply through the middle of the park. Burnley will try to get people close to Wood.

Sean Dyche talked about his side's threat from set-pieces, and Burnley immediately have a chance to whip a corner in from the right at Elland Road.

Stuart Dallas heads it up in the air and Clarets defender Ben Mee looks to scramble it back into the danger zone at the back post, but can only help it behind.

The contrast in styles evident in the opening seconds as Burnley go long towards Chris Wood but Leeds win it back and play out from the back after a lovely touch from Raphinha on the right.

Kalvin Phillips then clips longer towards Patrick Bamford but it drifts over the forward's head.

    Burnley

More from Burnley boss Sean Dyche: “I don't think we'll prepare too differently. We found a consistent way of working with the team and when it's working correctly, we've proven we can be effective in the Premier League against many different styles.

“Leeds is a different style again but there are lots of different styles in the Premier League. They've been up and down with a lot of goals going in, but they've scored a few goals as well.

“We've got to capitalise on all the right things and do all the right things we do to win a game. That will be our focus.”

Jacob Standbridge: Feel more confident about our chances with Burnley missing the counter-attacking threat of McNeil and Brady, but their forwards and set plays will trouble us aerially. Big ask for our back three, when our four most senior CBs are injured (Cooper, Koch, Llorente, Berardi).

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Leeds were naïve against Manchester United but Leeds are exactly who they are and will not change. They've had success, they play that way and have real enjoyment - Leeds fans enjoy how they play.

Yes, they might not win every time, but I don't think they will need to change to stay in the Premier League.

Leeds have been a really fresh addition to the Premier League and we've been used to teams set up with two banks of four trying to stop the opposition.

Newcastle yesterday against Manchester City were there just to keep the score down.
