Gary Lane: A coach told me long ago when I was young enough to play, either pass the penalty into the corner, or hit the thing as hard and low as you can.

I think it's just been proven that stuttering does not give an advantage. Also, imagine the arguments about what constitutes a "stutter" - don't we have enough refereeing controversies already?

That penalty save from Vicente Guaita was his first in the Premier League and it was the sixth penalty he has faced in the competition.

He is the first Crystal Palace goalkeeper to save a penalty in the Premier League since Wayne Hennessey vs Southampton in September 2018.

Luke Thomas takes another free-kick for Leicester on the right touchline and he curls it too deep.

Vicente Guaita isn't aware of his angles and ends up getting a hand to it. It was going straight out for a goal kick.

Ayoze Perez doesn't make the most of the corner though. Doesn't beat the first man. Fine him.

Luke: With Keepers being forced to stand on the line are these stuttering penalties now becoming redundant? GKs are not already fully committed before the kick anymore.

Moose and me: Did anyone actually think that Iheanacho would score that penalty? Don’t think even he thought he’d score.

Players stuttering on pen run ups or hopping should be banned. GKs are not allowed to move off their line.

    Alan, Horsham

The point of the stutter is to make the keeper move not show him where you are aiming.

It's fizzed in with pace from the right by Dennis Praet and Iheanacho gets across to the front post and flicks it way over from a few yards out.

It did come at him fast but you would expect him to hit the target.
