West Ham boss David Moyes had not calmed down by the time he did his post-match written media press conference.

He really is not happy about the penalty re-take VAR call.

"I think his heel is on the line," he said.

"You would need to have a microscope to see it. In that case, surely the benefit should go to the goalkeeper, he has made the save?

"The game continued for 15 seconds. I am disappointed and angry with it."

Tom: Leeds 14th and only West Brom have conceded more goals. Don't understand the hype?

James Beswick: That is lovely - from the free-kick just watch all the West Ham players dart to the front post, dragging defenders with them and leaving Ogbonna with the space to dominate at the back post. Straight off the training ground!

West Ham United

West Ham boss David Moyes to Sky Sports: "I was pleased. You might as well let the referees talk about it.

"I thought we played realy well against a good Leeds team. Until we get the VAR sorted I don't think I'll be happy.

"It's probably better you (broadcasters) discuss it, because you're discussing VAR decisions all the time.

"I thought Said Benrahma did a lot of good things. Maybe made a few wrong decisions a few times but I thought his contribution was good."

There's a huge midweek of Premier League action coming up after this weekend.

West Ham host Crystal Palace at London Stadium next Wednesday (20:00 GMT) while Leeds will be looking to bounce back at home to Newcastle on the same night (18:00 GMT).

Leeds United

Leeds United's Mateusz Klich: "We conceded from set pieces again. We are losing goals from set pieces every game and we need to be better. Obviously West Ham are very strong in the air and we knew they were going to be dangerous.

"We have to score more goals. We didn't do enough today."

On his retaken penalty: "You don't want to miss penalties. I knew I had to take it again. Statistics won't get us points. After a great start to the season a lot of people get carried away. Our goal is to stay in the league and be safe."

West Ham United

West Ham boss David Moyes, speaking to MOTD: "It's a really good result but we had another setback after 30 seconds. There are some terrible decisions that are happening at the moment.

"Whoever saw it must have had [Fabianski's foot] x-rayed. The decision was rubbish.

"We had periods where we had big chances. Their young keeper was outstanding tonight and kept them in game. To come to Leeds and get a result is really good."

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa to Match of the Day: "The result was fair and the game was the one we expected."

On conceding from set-pieces: "It worries me because it is causing an uneveness and we are finding it hard to correct it."

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a fair defeat, the type of game that doesn't surprise us. We prepared ourselves to face a game of the characteristics it had today and they were superior.

On conceding from set-pieces: "We know about this problem and we're doing everything necessary to try and correct it, it's not sufficient but we have to insist this problem has less influence on our games."

We have had confirmation from PGMOL that the VAR penalty re-take was for Fabianski off his line.

Because it was a factual decision there was no need for Michael Oliver to look at the screen.

The retake went straight in so any encroachment by Leeds players deemed irrelevant.

Leeds United

Leeds United's Stuart Dallas, speaking to BBC Sport: "It's a tough one to take. We have got to be better in terms of the the way we defend.

"It's a tough job for the officials and we have no complaints. There wasn't much in it in the second half. It could have gone either way.

West Ham United

West Ham's Aaron Cresswell, speaking to Sky Sports: "You look at our set pieces and it's a massive part of our game. It's worked again tonight. I couldn't believe it after two minutes with the penalty.

"Lukasz is two millimetres off his line but there is nothing the referee could do, these are the rules.

"We didn't lose our heads and Angelo Ogbonna stepped up. We have got to keep looking forward but not get too far ahead of ourselves.

"We're 12 games in and it is still too early."

West Ham United

West Ham match-winner Angelo Ogbonna: "After the first goal the team was a bit down and this is the way to bounce back."

On his goal: "It was a fantastic ball from Aaron Cresswell. The second half was tough because Leeds run.

"We take advantage of our strengths and we work with the staff."

On a Leeds penalty claim against him: "My hand was close to my body and I think it was the right decision."

On Said Benrahma's contribution: "He's a lovely guy. He showed his quality is very good on the ball and showed his difference for us."

Angelo Ogbonna is talking to TV. He doesn't want to talk about the retaken penalty. To be fair West Ham bounced back well after that to take the points.

They're now fifth in the table - above both Manchester United and Manchester City.

That was a heck of a shift from West Ham's players. What has David Moyes done to this team? They were incredible.

Enthralling game and it's a big win for West Ham. Incredible.

It breaks down and now West Ham are bringing on Robert Snodgrass against his former club. He's not going to touch the ball - there is so little time left.
