    It's frantic, helter-skelter stuff.

Leeds have the lead but West Ham have responded well and look like they could score each time they attack.

Fifteen minutes on the clock, one goal and three attempts on target.

  4. CLOSE!published at 13 mins

    Leeds 1-0 West Ham

West Ham again come close to equalising.

And it's Sebastien Haller with a shot on the turn from about 10 yards out which Illan Meslier is able to fall on.

But what is going on in the Leeds defence?

  5. CLOSE!published at 11 mins

    Leeds 1-0 West Ham

    What a start!

Big chance for West Ham but Sebastien Haller's header strikes a Leeds player and loses all power and Illan Meslier is able to gather.

That could have been costly. Leeds were easily carved open by that move.

  6. Four minute VAR delaypublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2020

    Leeds 1-0 West Ham

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Elland Road

I made that four minutes from the initial penalty being awarded to the spot-kick finally being scored.

I will be interested to see how much time is added on at the end of the half.

And they said VAR would end debate.

David Moyes was not happy with the decision to retake the penalty.

He's been sounding off at the fourth official.

It was VAR's decision. Moyes looks furious.

  8. 'Klich has got away with one'published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2020

    Leeds 1-0 West Ham

    Michael Brown
Former Leeds midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ohh we were wondering what he was going to do.

He changes his side, Lukasz Fabianski has to stay central and Mateusz Klich punched it into the corner.

The decision was so cruel on West Ham, when it is milimetres it is hard to take.

Klich has got away with one, it is the worst penalty I have ever seen.

    Mateusz Klich

This time there is no mistake.

Mateusz Klich beats Fabianski and Leeds are ahead.

Another fast start by Marcelo Bielsa's side after their early lead at Chelsea last week.

Will they hang on to the points this time?

  10. PENALTY TO LEEDSpublished at 5 mins

    Let off for Leeds.

VAR has ordered the penalty to be retaken.

Lukasz Fabianski was off his line when the penalty was taken.

It is a bad as a penalty I have ever seen, I don't know what he is thinking. He hardly does anything, a very strange penalty.

It is a definitely penalty. Liam Cooper was brilliant on the front foot and delivered a breaking pass right through the heart of West Ham.

    Leeds v West Ham (20:00GMT)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Elland Road

We are going back a long way admittedly but Leeds have a good 'recent' Premier League record against West Ham.

They have won four of the last five top flight meetings between the pair - the Hammers scored in only one of those matches.

Mind you, the first of those successes was on New Years' Day 2002, so long ago former West Ham defender Rio Ferdinand was in the Leeds side.

"Marching On Together" booms from the speakers as the teams emerge.

Yellow gloves and salmon coloured kit for Illan Meslier. He's not going to be hard to spot in the gloom.

It's a proper murky night in Leeds.

The teams are lining up in the tunnel.

  20. 'Leeds have tested everybody'published at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2020

Leeds v West Ham (20:00 GMT)

    West Ham United

West Ham manager David Moyes, speaking to Sky Sports: "The big incentive is to get back to winning ways and to improve on the result last Saturday. Hopefully we play well with a good performance, we played well for 60-70 minutes but we have do it for longer.

"Arthur Masuaka has had an operation on his knee.

"We have got several defenders we can use and look at it as we go on. We have been settled but in all seasons you have to be ready to change.

"Said Benrahma has been there, he is a player who is creative and there will be lots of one v one duels tonight.

"Leeds have tested everybody, you see what they do, their manager is very experienced and we know what we are up against. I want us to play well, continue our progress and continue to make chances. We know Leeds are capable of doing that as well."
