Liverpool are winless in their past four Premier League away games (D3, L1).

Their solitary away victory this season came at Chelsea in September, and going into this weekend they rank only 16th for most points earned on the road this season.

Jurgen Klopp's side can keep back-to-back Premier League clean sheets for the first time since June.

  5. 'What I feared would happen, happened'published at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2020

    Crystal Palace 1-1 Spurs

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho, speaking to BBC Sport: "I am experienced with football and the Premier League and I told the players what could happen, and it happened.

"Against Palace, the way they play you need the ball, you need to create because if not they are the sort of team that put the long ball into the box and what can happened, happened.

"You can look at the game in two perspectives, one is that we lost two points or another is that we have one more point than we did yesterday.

"I am never OK with a point, every game we go to win and if sometimes we don't win it because of credit to the opponent and sometimes it is because we should do better. Today I think it was a bit of both."

On Gareth Bale's absence: "He was ill, not Covid."

    Fulham v Liverpool (16:30 GMT)

Fulham have lost four of their opening five home league matches in a season for the first time.

They have lost 19 consecutive Premier League home fixtures against the 'top six', since a 1-1 draw against Chelsea on 9 April 2012.

Scott Parker has lost 15 of his 21 top-flight matches since taking charge of Fulham, initially as caretaker manager.

  7. 'Two points dropped - based on the game's three parts'published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2020

    Crystal Palace 1-1 Spurs

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho speaking to Sky Sports on whether it is a point gained or two points dropped: "We have one more point than we had. In that way, a point is a point and we know how difficult they are to get in the Premier League. We [also] lost two points. If I look to the last 10 minutes of the game, yes, if I look at the first 45 minutes, yes, but from 45 to 75 minutes we couldn't play or build from the back and we made lots of mistakes. A team like them, they can create and fight in the box. If I split the game into three parts - we lost two points."

On why his side didn't win: "I want to believe that was because we couldn't. At half-time I spent a good few minutes telling them what could happen in the second half. These guys, to control the game [against Palace] you need the ball. If you give them the chance to put balls in the box you put yourself in the line between victory and draw."

On whether Hugo Lloris should prevent Palace's goal: "My goalkeeper is the best in the Premier League."

On lessons from the game: "There are not lessons to learn. We knew what the game could be. At half-time we predicted what could happen."

Liverpool have won six successive Premier League games against Fulham, scoring 18 goals and conceding just four times.

It's tough to make a mistake and carry on, you want the ground to swallow you up. This is a Premier League game with not many people in the stadium, but it's the same thing, you have to get your head right and concentrate on your game and maybe try to get a result for your side and Guaita has done that today and he's definitely man of the match for me.

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita, speaking to Sky Sports: "I feel good, a point - it is an important point. Very happy."

On Tottenham's goal: "The ball was moving, it was difficult. He is a good player, the best striker in the Premier League. Today I didn't save but next week maybe I save it.

"All the saves are important. It was important with the 2,000 fans. It was a big energy for the team."

    Crystal Palace 1-1 Spurs

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Spurs will be so disappointed with 1-1 - Jose Mourinho's side have had such dominance in this game, all the chances. Vicente Guaita has had a fantastic game despite the one mistake for the goal.

Spurs will be so disappointed not to go home with three points. Other than that mistake Guaita has really not put a foot wrong and he's a big reason why Palace managed to get a point.
