Arsenal do it again. Another pointless red card and down to 10 men. Xhaka supposed to be an experienced professional. Hang your head in shame young man.

If guendouzi got exiled by arteta for something similar, why does xhaka deserve to stay? Get him OUT.

Xhaka is a liabilty, no other word for it.

Ben Mee has a go from distance, it is well hit but straight at Bernd Leno.

    Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

Arsenal have received six red cards since Mikel Arteta took over Arsenal, double that of any other side in this time.

They are still dominating possession but have lost that bit of bite they had found between the start of the second half and Granit Xhaka's dismissal.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2020

Neal Maupay flicks an effort at goal as Brighton attack again but it is routine stuff for Kasper Schmeichel.

Tee Mak: it's been said before but how does Potter escape any criticism? No progress in league position since he's been there and just 3 points above relegation zone

Brighton making Leicester look like world beaters. Potter taking the seagulls to the championship.

  8. RED CARD FOR ARSENALpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2020

    Granit Xhaka

The referee looks at the pitchside monitor and drops the yellow and instead shows Granit Xhaka the red card for that reaction.

Poor from Xhaka to react like that with Arsenal having started this half well.

    Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

There's a coming together between Granit Xhaka and Dwight McNeil as the latter is sent tumbling by a challenge by the Arsenal midfielder.

Xhaka is booked but VAR is going to have a look at this as Xhaka does grab Ashley Westwood by the throat in the melee after McNeil's tackle. He could be in more trouble here...

    Leicester 3-0 Brighton

Leicester, potentially mindful of the number of games they have coming up in a congested schedule, are not going all out on the hunt for more goals at the start of the second half. They seem quite content to let Brighton have the ball before pressuring them when they get midway inside the Foxes half.

    Leicester 3-0 Brighton

    Michael Brown
Former Leeds midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

What can Brighton do to change it? It can sometimes be hard to make changes, when you've set up and worked on something for a long period of time and seen your team get results last week with exactly the same formation. But in the Premier League you've always got to adapt and expect change. Brighton's tacticians and analysts will be looking to find something to just help Brighton get back into this.

Better from Arsenal as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is away down the left, he quickly finds Kieran Tierney but his first-time shot is held by Nick Pope.

We're back under way in tonight's games. Will there be more goals at Leicester?

After the first 45 minutes, I think we'd settle for a few more shots on target at Arsenal.

Arsenal look like a bang average team. They are a bang average team and Arteta will soon have grey hair. It’s simply isn’t happening to this team of ‘stars’
