    Aston Villa 0-0 Burnley

    Lee Hendrie
Former Aston Villa midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

The way this game has panned out, the amount of chances Villa have had, they've certainly dominated in the attacking third but are we going to get a goal? This has got to be one of the best performances of the season by Villa but they just haven't been clinical enough. It could easily have been the same score as the Liverpool game was earlier in the season.

Ollie Watkins drives into the area on a surging run but it's cleared away. Watkins is actually booked, not sure why.

Sheffield Utd v Man Utd (20:00 GMT)

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport at Bramall Lane

It's a relatively mild evening at Bramall Lane as the two teams warm up under the watchful gaze of their respective managers.

Both Chris Wilder and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have come under scrutiny this season, but the pair appear safe for now.

Wilder was backed by Blades owner Prince Abdullah last Sunday, prior to the 3-0 defeat by Southampton, while Manchester United's away form has kept Solskjaer's head above water.

The visitors have won all five of their Premier League games away from Old Trafford this season, despite having to come from behind in each case.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Burnley

    Lee Hendrie
Former Aston Villa midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

It's not often I say this but Jack Grealish went for the wrong option and tried to beat Nick Pope at his near post instead of flashing it back across the line.

  8. CLOSE!published at 77 mins

    Aston Villa 0-0 Burnley

Surely, surely this isn't going to end 0-0?

Jack Grealish now fires a shot into the side-netting after yet another slaloming run.

  9. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Aston Villa 0-0 Burnley

Anwar el Ghazi runs at the Burnley defence for the umpteenth time, he shoots for the umpteenth time, he spanners it over the top.

Chris Wilder makes three changes to his team, who are looking to avoid a club record eighth successive league defeat.

Jack Robinson comes in to replace Phil Jagielka in defence while Oliver Burke and David McGoldrick replace the injured Oli McBurnie and skipper Billy Sharp up top.

Sheffield United XI: Ramsdale, Baldock, Basham, Egan, Robinson, Stevens, Berge, Ampadu, Fleck, Burke, McGoldrick.

Subs: Sharp, Mousset, Jagielka, Norwood, Verrips, Osborn, Brester.

Dean Henderson starts in goal for Manchester United instead of David de Gea against former team Sheffield United, where he spent two seasons on loan.

Alex Telles replaces Luke Shaw at left-back, while Nemanja Matic is in for Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial comes in for Fred.

Man Utd XI: Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles, Matic, Pogba, Greenwood, Fernandes, Martial, Rashford.

Subs: De Gea, Mata, Fred, James, Shaw, Van de Beek, McTominay.

I think Burnley would take a point here but we know what Burnley are all about and they are good at smash and grab wins. They do it so well.

Jack Grealish runs clear down the left wing once again and cuts it back to Anwar el Ghazi, he opens up space for a shot and sidefoots in but it's tame and straight at Nick Pope.

Joe Wedgwood: Baffled as to what Donny van de Beek needs to do to get a start at United? How does Pogba start ahead of him? Clearly Ole didn't want him and he's being wasted.
