  3. PENALTY TO CARDIFFpublished at 20:31 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2020

    Cardiff 1-2 Birmingham

    Another penalty!

Corner to Cardiff and Michael Salisbury spots a handball in the box from a Blues defender.

He points to the spot. No complaints.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2020

    M'boro 1-0 Luton

    It's been ruled out!

You can't double-hit a set-piece and Collins' leveller is rightly disallowed.

I think it was the linesman that convinced the referee in the end.

So, Boro have been let off the hook. They've got 15 more minutes to hold on with a man down.

Wow! What a run. What a finish.

This game's been crying out for a bit of quality, and boy does Ivan Sanchez deliver.

The 28-year-old dribbles the ball all the way from the halfway line to the edge of the box.

He cuts inside and curls the ball into the top corner.

Not a bad way to get your first goal in a Birmingham shirt.

  11. goal

High-flying Norwich take an early lead in Berkshire.

The Royals give away the ball with a blind pass across the back.

The hosts only have themselves to blame for that.

He's hardly had a touch all game and now he's netted the opener!

Marvin Johnson fires in a great ball from out wide and Chuba Akpom side-foots the ball into the bottom corner.

No chance for James Shea in the Luton net.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2020

    Blackburn 0-0 Rotherham

Rare chance for Rotherham. Matthew Olosunde breaks clear and fires in a low pass across the face of goal.

Michael Smith gets the lightest of touches and the ball sales harmlessly wide.

Any more contact and that would've been 1-0 to the Millers.

  20. Sky Blues settling into second tier lifepublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2020

    Coventry v Huddersfield (20:00 GMT)

Coventry City have had a pretty decent campaign following their return to the Championship following an eight-year absence.

A seven-match unbeaten run means the Sky Blues started the day eight points clear of the relegation zone.

This fixture is a bit of a rarity - Coventry have not played Huddersfield in the league since the 1971-72 campaign, when both clubs were in the top flight.

Huddersfield had registered back-to-back victories before their trip to Bournemouth on Saturday brought them back down to earth with a thump.

A 5-0 defeat at the hands of the Cherries was a galling reminder of the progress the Terriers have to make - they have conceded a league-high 19 goals in their nine away games.

Carlos Corberan makes six changes, with Ryan Schofield replacing Ben Hamer in goal.

The Yorkshire club are three points ahead of the hosts ahead of kick-off.
