Visitors Swansea City travel to the East Midlands just four points off the automatic promotion places.

The Swans swept aside local rivals Cardiff City at the weekend, recording an impressive 2-0 victory in the Welsh capital.

Steve Cooper's men are three unbeaten and have also recorded three shutouts in a row.

Beaten play-off semi-finalists last season, Swansea are looking like they will be in the mix once more come the denouement of the current campaign.

With Andre Ayew and Jamal Lowe impressing up front, the Rams defence will have to be on their toes.

  6. Are Rooney's Rams turning the corner?published at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2020

Derby County are enduring a difficult campaign, but things have improved slightly since Wayne Rooney was placed in sole interim charge.

The Rams are unbeaten in five games since the former Manchester United and England striker was handed the reins - although there are four draws in that run.

Derby have kept three consecutive clean sheets but underlying problems remain.

They are the lowest scorers in the Championship this season, with eight goals in 18 games and are yet to win at home in 2020-21.

Despite just one win in 14, victory tonight would place County level on points with 21st-placed Nottingham Forest.

A win by a four-goal margin would lift them out of the bottom three.
