    Luton 0-0 Bournemouth

Sam Nombe nearly nicks it for Luton!

Luke Berry puts him in but Asmir Begovic makes a key save.

Missed chance for Luton, and Bournemouth will be frustrated to lose ground as it stands, on leaders Norwich.

    Stoke 1-0 Blackburn

    Was that it for Blackburn?!

Top scorer Adam Armstrong latches on to Bradley Johnson's low cross but fires wide.

    League Two update

Jordan Bowrey has equalised for Mansfield at home to Southend.

Victory would lift Southend off the bottom of the EFL.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Coventry

Josh Windass could have wrapped it up for the Owls, who haven't won yet under Tony Pulis, but Ben Wilson denies him one on one.

Still, odds on for the first win in nine attempts for the veteran boss.

    League One update

Plymouth have not tasted league victory since the start of November.

They're closing in on a win at home to Milton Keynes.

Lincoln have sealed the points at Sixfields as Brennan Johnson scores their third.

It will be a fourth-straight defeat for Northampton.

  6. goal

GOAL: Wycombe 1-1 QPRpublished at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    Anis Mehmeti (88 mins)

Richly deserved equaliser for the hosts!

Anis Mehmeti, on as a sub, drifts in off the left and beats Seny Dieng with a low shot that the goalkeeper probably should have done better with.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Coventry

Matt Godden swivels to shoot for Coventry but his effort scorches over from a booming throw.

    Time ticking down.

    Luton 0-0 Bournemouth

Rodrigo Riquelme lets fly for Bournemouth, but James Shea is right behind it.

Stalemate written all over this. He says, cheekily hoping to curse that.

    Wycombe 0-1 QPR

QPR closing in on just a second win in 10 games.

  10. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 1-4 Middlesbroughpublished at 16:44 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    Lewis Wing (82 mins)

    Middlesbrough are running riot!

Lewis Wing drills low past Neil Etheridge to put Boro in complete control at St Andrew's (if they weren't already).

Etheridge played for Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock at Cardiff... I can't imagine he's looking forward to catching up with his former manager at the end of this one.

    League Two update

    What a thriller at Walsall!

First an equaliser from Jake Scrimshaw - his second of the day.

And barely two minutes later they lead Port Vale as Dan Scarr also scores his second.

    They lead 4-3!

  12. Postpublished at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    Luton 0-0 Bournemouth

No goal to show for it but Leicester loanee Kiernan Dewsbury Hall is a real talent for Luton. Skill, movement, shimmy, but his shooting not enough to earn his side a goal.

One for the future to keep an eye on, he's doing it in the present for the Hatters.

  13. Postpublished at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    Stoke 1-0 Blackburn

Stoke have had one shot on target in this game, and it was after seven minutes.

All Blackburn in tricky conditions. Can they find a late leveller?

  14. Postpublished at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    Brentford 3-1 Reading

    Reading unfortunate there.

Michael Olise forces David Raya to beat the ball up into the air, and Reading recycle it.

The ball is sent in again from the left, and Thomas Holmes brushes his man aside but the shot is blocked and Raya gathers the looping loose ball.

    League Two update

Forest Green have the lead against Crewe in League Two's game of the day.

Jamille Matt puts them in front as time ticks down in Nailsworth.

They're set to climb to second in the table.

  16. Postpublished at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Coventry

Keiren Westwood is the barrier at the moment that Coventry just cannot crack. Too good.

Amadou Bakayoko denied, and then again by Owls goalscorer Lees.

They're throwing the sink at it, are Mark Robins' side.

  17. Postpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    League Two update

Port Vale led two-nil at the break at Walsall only to be stunned by two goals in four minutes at the start of the second-half.

But they have retaken the lead through Devante Rodney. What a game!

Meanwhile it's all over for Cheltenham as Harrison Biggins scores Barrow's third.

  18. Postpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    Brentford 3-1 Reading

Hooked effort from Thomas Esteves from the edge of the box sails harmlessly over the top of the Brentford crossbar.

Marcus Forss is on for Brentford. Should be interesting to see if he makes an impact. The Finn has been lively.

  19. Postpublished at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    Swansea 2-0 Barnsley

Barnsley striker Victor Adeboyejo nearly atones for his earlier own goal but send a shot just wide of the post.

  20. Postpublished at 16:34 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2020

    Stoke 1-0 Blackburn

Blackburn still looking for a way back into this.

Ryan Nyambe swings a dangerous cross in but it misses everyone and the hosts clear.
