    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Final Score

Wilfried Zaha gets involved in things he shouldn't get involved in.

It's going to hurt Crystal Palace if he keeps doing things like that.

If you're an opposition player, you'd pinch him in the back or step on his toe because he'll probably swing for you and put his side down to 10 men.

    VAR should get involved.

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Sheffield United

    Leon Osman

Sheffield United have paid for Rhian Brewster's potential. You expect he will develop.

They probably didn't expect to need him as much as they do right now but nobody else is scoring the goals.

With the minutes and the experience, things might just fall into place for him and he might just rescue his side.

Surely a change is needed at Sheffield United. Players look bereft of confidence, they don't look like scoring, doesn't look like wilder is the man to motivate them!

    Ebrahim in Nuneaton

If Sheffield United need say 35 points to be safe, their second half of the season has to be pretty much as good as Liverpool's first half, give or take a game or two. Does anybody think that's going to happen?

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Sheffield United

    Micah Richards
Former Man City defender on BBC Final Score

It's difficult but when Rhian Brewster has been on the pitch he hasn't been able to get involved in the games.

A lot of the work he has been doing has been defensive work, trying to get the ball back.

I agree he should be starting more but when you're struggling you lean on your more experienced players.

I want to see him play, I'm a massive fan of his.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 66 mins

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Sheffield Utd

Palace forward Eberechi Eze catches Ethan Ampadu late, coming in with his studs and referee Stuart Attwell issues a yellow card to the goalscorer.

Nasty one that, luckily for Eze that Ampadu did not make a meal of it.

Willem Mevius: Sacking Wilder would be a mistake. No other manager would be able to keep this team up. They're better off spending on on some quality improvements in the transfer window (instead of overpaying for young strikers like they did the last time).

Say what you want about Sheffield United like 'relegate them now', 'they're embarrassing' etc etc but I'd rather have them in the EPL any day of the week sticking with Wilder than a managerial basket case club like Watford.

Easy, easyyy! Wilfried Zaha has a coming together with Jayden Bogle and pushes the Sheffield United defender on the side of his face.

The referee didn't see it, VAR will have had a look but decide no further action to be taken.

Not too dissimilar to the incident between Anthony Martial and Erik Lamela earlier this season, the Manchester United forward was sent off on that occasion.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 63 mins

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

Off comes Lys Mousset and Rhian Brewster enters the field, still looking for his first Blades goal since moving from Liverpool.

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Final Score

On news that Chris Wilder was angry at half-time because Crystal Palace's second goal arrived in the sixth minute of additional time...

Once injury time is up you expect the referee to blow, but you have to play until the whistle and Sheffield United didn't do that.

To be told its five minutes [added on] and then concede in the sixth, it is frustrating.

Gee Em: remember the days when Sheff Utd were a rock solid defnece, great picks for your fantasy team? Well those days seem long gone. Surely they need a new manager, Wilder looks bereft. Not even at the races this year. It's like they missed the bus to get there.

Des Dorling: Can we just relegate Sheffield United now. It's embarrassing watching them getting battered every week. Give their fixtures as a day off for the opposition.

Oh no, not another injury problem for Palace, is it?

Wilfried Zaha meets a header at the far post and looks like he as landed heavily on his right ankle.

    Roy Hodgson daren't look.

  19. 'Exciting at the top'published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2021

    Micah Richards
Former Man City defender on BBC Final Score

    On this season's title race...

It's exciting isnt it. We saw the quality of Liverpool last season but you don't want to see one team run away with it.

It's really nice to see so many teams involved [near the top] at this stage of the season.
