We all know Crystal Palace are a good side defensively but Sheffield United aren't offering much.

Last season they would be flying forward. When you concede that early it will always have an effect, but I want to see more.

Good intensity to the game so far - we thought it might be a bit cagey, sort of like two boxers just throwing a few jabs but the game has kicked off and been lively from the get go.

Typical Crystal Palace - Andros Townsend does ever so well he just puts the ball in behind for a foot race between Wilfried Zaha and John Egan - Zaha gets to it now he wants support and he gets it from Christian Benteke who just lays it lovely in the path of Jeffrey Schlupp.

The timing of the run coming into the box and what a cultured finish. He's going for that far corner and just slides it past Aaron Ramsdale. Fantastic goal for Crystal Palace.

We all know Wilfried Zaha is a great talent.

When he was at Manchester United it didnt work out for him. People felt he couldn't do it on a consistent basis.

But it's his numbers now. When you get goals and assists, it grabs people's attention.

I think he can play at a higher level, no disrespect to Crystal Palace. But I think he needs love - and at Crystal Palace he is the main man.

GOAL - Crystal Palace 1-0 Sheffield Utdpublished at 4 mins

    Jeffrey Schlupp

    Breakthrough.

The ricochets fall Palace's way and that's how it is when you are struggling at the bottom.

Blades skipper John Egan cannot deal with the pace of Wilfried Zaha down the left and he finds Christian Benteke on the edge of the box.

The Palace striker flicks it round the corner into the path of Jeffrey Schlupp - via a deflection - and the winger rolls the ball into the bottom corner - via another deflection.

Chris Wilder's misery continues, a nightmare start.
