St Mirren 0-1 Rangers
St Mirren 0-1 Rangers
Much better from the hosts in the past few minutes in terms of keeping the ball, but the Rangers defence have been untroubled so far.
Signs that Jim Goodwin's men could be feeling their way into this one...
Livingston 2-0 Ross County
It's already looking like a long night for Ross County but they have plenty of time to turn this around.
Two goals without reply would force extra-time but they need to get a foothold in the match first.
St Mirren 0-1 Rangers
It's all Rangers here in Paisley.
You imagine that early goal from Connor Goldson has completely ripped up Jim Goodwin's gameplan.
The hosts will need to come out to try and get themselves back into the game, but they can't get anywhere at the minute.
St Mirren 0-1 Rangers
Rangers are in the mood now as James Tavernier whips in a super cross towards Ryan Kent at the back post, but the winger just can't get enough power and direction on his header.
Alan Forrest
Livingston have doubled their lead with Alan Forrest nodding in from six yards.
Connor Goldson
What are Rangers feeding their defenders?!
Goldson strides forward with the ball into the St Mirren box unchallenged, and unleashes a stunning finish across Jak Alnwick low into the far corner.
It was all too easy in fairness, but the finish was anything but!
St Mirren 0-0 Rangers
As you would expect, Rangers have started with the majority of possession, but they haven't created anything of note yet.
There is a swirling wind in Paisley tonight which might take a bit of getting used to for both sides.
St Mirren 0-0 Rangers
We're now off and running at a very wet SMISA Stadium...
St Mirren v Rangers (20:00)
Kick-off will be slightly delayed in Paisley as referee Andrew Dallas has pulled out after injuring himself in the warm-up.
David Dickinson - no, not the guy from Bargain Hunt - steps up from his role as fourth official to replace Dallas.
Just five minutes until we're underway in Paisley, so that means you have more than enough time to try our quiz.
Can you remember each of the winning League Cup teams since 2005-06?

Craig Sibbald
Sibbald benefits from a mis-placed ball from Regan Charles-Cook to fire Livingston in front.
There was some suspicion of offside but the officials are seemingly of the view that it was Ross County's Charles-Cook who had the last touch before Sibbald took charge.
St Mirren v Rangers (20:00)
St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin hopes Rangers have a rare off night to boost his side's hopes of reaching the last four.
"We're unbeaten in nine and feeling good about ourselves, but Rangers are unbeaten in 27," Goodwin tells BBC Sportsound.
"They're the form team in country and it's a hell of a task we have. Nobody expects a great deal from us but we genuinely believe we have an opportunity tonight.
"We have good pace in the wide areas and can cause Rangers problems on the counter-attack."
Livingston 0-0 Ross County
An early free-kick for Livi with Josh Mullin's effort going into goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw's arms.
Livingston 0-0 Ross County
We're underway at the Tony Macaroni Arena...
Livingston v Ross County (19:45)
Ross County manager Stuart Kettlewell tells BBC Scotland: "You get very few opportunities to go to the national stadium in a major cup competition.
"We know we're not in the best of form but our last outing in this competition [against Celtic] was a very, very good one.
"I didn't feel there was too much wrong on Saturday against Aberdeen. Tonight's a brilliant opportunity for us in a hectic period to really try and ignite some sort of form."
Livingston v Ross County (19:45)
Livingston interim manager David Martindale tells BBC Sportsound: "I know how huge [winning the League Cup in 2004] was for the club back in those days.
"For Ross County to go to Celtic Park and win shows how good they can be on their day. We're focusing on winning the game in 90 minutes.
"It's probably like every game in the Scottish Premiership. Every game's a tough game. I don't think you get easy games of football in the Premiership."

Livingston v Ross County (19:45)
However, they will have to defeat a Ross County side that eliminated holders Celtic in the last 16.
County, winners in 2016, secured a memorable victory at Parkhead last month thanks to goals from Ross Stewart and Alex Iacovitti, but they've failed to capitalise on that win in the league games since.
Defeats against Rangers and Aberdeen have followed, leaving the Highlanders bottom of the Premiership.
Tonight would be a good time to start turning the tide for manager Stuart Kettlewell, with a place at Hampden up for grabs.
Livingston v Ross County (19:45)
David Martindale has made a fine start to his tenure as Livingston interim head coach.
A 2-1 win at McDiarmid Park on Saturday propelled the West Lothian club to seventh in the Premiership, and made it three wins from three for Martindale.
Following the weekend's victory, Martindale said it would be "incredible" to guide the team to a semi-final after playing in Scotland's third tier just four seasons ago, and it's hard to disagree.
Victory tonight would, surely, all but confirm Martindale's position as permanent Livingston boss, if it isn't guaranteed already.
