Kyle Walker-Peters must have been a bit nervous as he steps across the run of Sadio Mane and the forward goes down.

There's no real appeal though and VAR doesn't get involved. No penalty.

Liverpool piling on some presure now, Sadio Mane finds a pocket of space at the far post and gets a low shot in but Jack Stephens slides in to make a cracking block.

Can Southampton hang on?

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been pretty anoymous to be honest, is replaced by Xherdan Shaqiri.

Xherdan Shaqiri is about to come on for Liverpool, as Southampton have a better spell.

Who honestly knows any more? I don't have a clue.

For me I thought it was a handball. He went to block the shot and it hit his arm. I've seen them given and also not given.

Liverpool force another corner but Southampton look solid at setpieces at the moment.

LavigneFFXIV: This is exactly how the league played out last time Leicester won it, I'll be surprised if another "outsider" doesn't win it again. It's up for grabs and for some teams this might be their only chance for a very long time to do so.

Stuart Armstrong has been the best player on the pitch by a country mile. He has worked tirelessly and in possession everything has been forward, forward, forward.

Southampton have been magnificent, everything about them. In possession, they have been outstanding, they nearly had a great chance at the end and they've been so brave and every pass has been forward.

Every time Liverpool have gone direct and tried to get the second ball, a Southampton player has got there first. Southampton are a joy to watch.

Liverpool at the moment have been poor but have been in second or third gear and are still very much in the game.

Liverpool have only won one of their last nine Premier League away games when going in at half time behind.

They don't go behind at all very often.
