    Leeds 0-1 Brighton

Ben White looks to go on one of those searching runs down the left but he's bundled out the way by Stuart Dallas.

Both managers are about to make some changes...

  2. 'The pitch is a disgrace'published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Brighton

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

Leeds are starting to take the game to Brighton more. Marcelo Bielsa has obviously said at half time: 'I want you guys to run even harder and forward more often.'

The pitch is a disgrace. It is not Premier League level. I don't want to blame the pitch, but it isn't helping their cause.

Brighton are comfortable at the moment.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Burnley

Michail Antonio wins a free kick right on the edge of the Burnley box after flummoxing a Clarets defender with fancy footwork.

Declan Rice then whips a fierce effort over the two-man wall but just over the bar too.

  4. Postpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Brighton

Ezgjan Alioski tees up Raphinha on the left and there's numbers to aim for in the middle.

He has time too but Raphinha's cross ends up flying over everybody and rolls out harmlessly on the far side. What a waste!

Leeds have definitely improved in this half though - Brighton can't seem to get hold of the ball.

  5. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Burnley

    Karen Carney
Former England and Chelsea winger on Final Score

Burnley are usually really good in the air but they haven't won their aerial battles today.

They are not winning the first contact. That would be a worry if I was Sean Dyche.

  6. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Brighton

Joel Veltman is beaten on the left and it comes in dangerously towards Patrick Bamford. Dan Burn does well in the end to get his head on it before Robert Sanchez gathers it in.

  7. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Burnley

A dangerous Burnley cross is headed away with Dwight McNeil lurking to nod in at the back post.

West Ham then break quickly and win a corner as Michail Antonio's cross is deflected behind but Jarrod Bowen's delivery is dealt with, albeit not too convincingly.

  8. 'Leeds have upped the tempo'published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Brighton

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Leeds have upped the tempo. They have obviously had words. They still need to relax a bit on the ball though because they're rushing everything. They want to get to goal so quickly.

I can't believe they had the water on the pitch at half time though! The pitch is so heavy and boggy but they put the sprinklers on!

  9. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Brighton

Mateusz Klich tries to lift one over the top for Raphinha but it's away by Lewis Dunk. Raphinha then finds Patrick Bamford but when it comes back to Klich, he hoofs it straight out for a goal kick.

  10. Postpublished at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Burnley

    Steve Sidwell
Former Chelsea midfielder on BBC BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

I really like Dwight McNeil, he's produced a little injection of impetus for Burnley in the early spells of this second half.

  11. CLOSE!published at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Burnley

Ben Mee is on the line to block a Michail Antonio header before hacking clear.

West Ham have had an extra day's rest to prepare for this game and they certainly look the fresher of the two sides.

  12. Postpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Brighton

Raphinha pokes it through to Patrick Bamford in the box. He takes a touch but that allows Joel Veltman to come across and make the tackle.

It lands at the feet of Jack Harrison and he smashes it first-time but it flies wide of the far post. Decent effort, decent chance.

  13. Postpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Burnley

I keep thinking Burnley are pulling away quite nicely from trouble but scores today will make them a bit twitchy if they stay the same. Brighton will move above the Clarets, who would be one place above the drop and four clear of Fulham, who have a game in hand.

A result here would be a big boost but it is West Ham who have started this half the stronger.

  14. Postpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Leeds 0-1 Brighton

Leandro Trossard tries to squeeze it through to Neal Maupay but it's cut-out by Liam Cooper.

It comes back in from the left by Brighton but Alexis Mac Allister can't get a shot away, before Maupay skews it wide from the edge of the box.

Jacob Standbridge: Leeds have often struggled against a 3-4-3 defensive shape this season - it allows opponents to close down our wide players with lots of bodies. Good work by Potter to pick up on this. We need to offer a different threat in this half.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Burnley

Burnley have made a change for the second half with Dwight McNeil on for Johann Gudmundsson.

    We're back under way.

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

Back under way in Leeds. No changes from either manager.

Lord Andrew Dennett: Some of the play between MacAllister and Trossard is sublime. Just imagine how much better it would be on a pitch that wasn't a ploughed field!

  19. Postpublished at 15:59 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    HT: Leeds 0-1 Brighton

Brighton have dropped 12 points in Premier League matches they were leading this season, more than any other side (W2-D3-L2).

    Surely not this time?

Can someone please tell me why Bielsa is lauded? Playing 10 upfront and hoping for the best every game isn’t tactical nous.

    Dan in London

Utter dross from Leeds. Not a single shot at goal yet, I fear we will be sucked into a relegation battle
