There's plenty for Thomas Tuchel to ponder.

Chelsea's best chances came in the second half, Ben Chilwell from the left of the area but over the bar and Mateo Kovacic was also denied by a diving Rui Patrício.

Wolves will be happy with a point, Pedro Neto with their best chance hitting the bar.

    Brighton 0-0 Fulham

As I'm giving my toddler a hug goodnight, Ivan Cavaleiro is running at the Brighton defence before smashing it just wide from 25 yards. Luckily that didn't go in as I wasn't ready to flash the goal entry.

    Brighton 0-0 Fulham

Bobby Decordova-Reid has a chance for Fulham but heads wide at the back post from a cross. He was under a lot of pressure to be fair to him, it's not a bad miss.

    Brighton 0-0 Fulham

If you're wondering where the goals are, all four of Brighton’s Premier League goals against Fulham have been scored by Glenn Murray, who is now on loan at Watford.

Fulham are winless in eight Premier League games - alternating between not scoring and scoring one goal in each of those eight games. And they scored in the last one...

  8. Ancelotti has eye on Champions Leaguepublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2021

    Everton v Leicester (20:15 GMT)

Three-time Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti is synonymous with Europe's elite competition and the Everton boss admitted on Tuesday that he misses it. Although he has previously said his concentration has been on qualifying for Europe, it seems he is now yearning for the big time again.

"It would be fantastic to play with Everton in the Champions League," he said. "It’s a great motivation and a great desire. This is the target we have for the future. I don't know how long it's going to take but I hope that soon we can play games in Champions League because it's the best competition in the world."

Tonight's opponents will be equally motivated to reach the top four, making for a tantalising match in store

    FT: Burnley 3-2 Aston Villa

    Burnley

Burnley goalscorer Chris Wood: “There was lots of action at both ends. They are a good side and we needed to come out after half-time with a bit more gusto.

"We got the equaliser and had grit and determination to come back again. It was fantastic from the lads.

“It’s all about character in our team and we’ve got an abundance of it. We like to show people what we are about and what Burnley are about.

“I’m just grateful the ball went in and it was a big three points for the guys. We’re always trying to build confidence as a side we just want to keep building and to go forward.”

    Everton v Leicester (20:15 GMT)

It really is a cracking night at the top.

Manchester United can go top, Leicester can go level on points with Manchester City and Everton - just out of shot on 32 points - would wind up level on points with Leicester if they win their two games in hand.

I think we're starting to see the momentum with Manchester United and the strength and depth in their squad is like the Manchester United of old.

For example Alex Telles coming in for Luke Shaw, Shaw being a player in form at the moment which is great to see because he's had his fair share of criticism and he has been a real asset down that left-hand side.

  19. Man Utd attitude 'spot on'published at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2021

Man Utd v Sheffield Utd (20:15 GMT)

    Shamoon Hafez
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Manchester United have squeezed out results in the past few games - narrow wins over Aston Villa, Wolves, Burnley and Fulham - so it is games like tonight where they really need to lay down a marker if they are to be considered 'serious' title challengers.

This time last year, manager Ole Gunnar Solskajer was clinging on to his job, but what a difference a year makes.

"It is heartening to see the character in this group, that is a pre-requisite for any successful team to have," he writes in his programme notes.

"The same goes for the bravery and positive we saw on Sunday against Liverpool.

"The attitude we are seeing in the group now is absolutely spot on."

Victory will take United back to the top of the table above rivals Manchester City, a draw will not suffice.

And then another Brighton chance from another defensive error, but Gross' effort is charged down by Harrison Reed.
