Has Tuchel told Chelsea they get brownie points for each pass they make? Possession with no penetration.

Over 70% possession, 8 shots. A new era at Chelsea or is Jorginho back playing?

Brighton corner... and a second as Joachim Andersen denies Adam Webster a heading chance.

The second one is cleared by Ola Aina.

Where have the Wolves of the last couple of years gone? It's like watching Mourinho's Spurs. I know they've lost Jota, Doherty and Jimenez but still...

    Chris Wood (79 mins)

    Wow!

They were 2-1 down moments ago, now Burnley lead at Turf Moor.

It's a superb header from Chris Wood, who rises to meet Dwight McNeil's cross and guides it into the bottom corner.

    What a turnaround.

Oooooooooh. Ola Aina almost scores a screamer for Fulham. The ball is rolled into his path and the defender, who has only scored three goals in his career, hits a sweet first-time rising drive from about 35 yards which flies just inches over the bar.

Jack Grealish is a top 3 player in the premier league this season. No-one can convince me otherwise.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 19:36 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Wolves

Wolves' plan almost works to perfection.

They hit Chelsea on the break through Pedro Neto, who gets on to a flick from Daniel Podence and bundles his way into the area.

The Portugal forward clips it over Edouard Mendy and it catches the top of the bar.

    Close!

    Brighton 0-0 Fulham

Two teams who like to play 'good football' but don't actually pick up too many results with it. Fulham have had most of the ball in the opening three or four minutes.

    Dwight McNeil (75 mins)

    How did that go in!

Burnley can't believe they're level again, neither can Villa.

Dwight McNeil collects it on the left and looks to drive a low ball across goal, but it evades everyone and finds its way in at the back post.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has probably been Chelsea's best player, a quick step-over takes him away from Max Kilman on the right once more and the Blues win a corner.

It's nodded clear, they've not been able to make those count today.

    Brighton 0-0 Fulham

Game 3/5 is under way. A big one in the relegation fight. The gap between the bottom three and the rest could be seven points... or it could be two.

You could call this one a five-pointer.

Steady on, Pedro Neto. He needs to be careful.

The Wolves forward is already on a booking, and slams the ball into the ground. He gets away with this one.

Kev McVeigh: I've said for months that what Chelsea lack is a captain. Someone to keep the energy levels up and the focus right.

Darren: So Chelsea had the most passes in a first half of any EPL club this season.....yet they did absolutely nothing with them! Wolves will be very content with that stat!

John Dunthorne: A lot of childish crying out and rolling about at Stamford Bridge, but after PSG Tuchel will be used to it.

Steven Wyeth: The answer to 'how on earth are Burnley going to get back into this?' turns out to be by winning a corner. Headed in by Ben Mee. Frustration for Villa who've been utterly dominant. Nick Pope's been outstanding and his worth to Burnley is immense.

Tom Sharpe: Forgive me, but why are players allowed to simply stop the goalkeeper from moving off his line on corners? Any other part of the pitch that's called obstruction.

Everton make four changes to the team which beat Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup on Sunday and it looks like a change in formation too.

Jordan Pickford replaces Robin Olsen in goal, while Michael Keane and Lucas Digne come back into the defence. Digne could play on the left wing as well.

Tom Davies replaces the suspended Abdoulaye Doucoure in midfield.

Everton XI: Pickford, Godfrey, Keane, Mina, Holgate, Godfrey, Digne, Davies, Gomes, James, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin.

Ayoze Perez starts up top in the absence of the injured Jamie Vardy.

    Who else?

This is sublime from Jack Grealish.

He finds space on the edge of the box, slips a pass wide to Douglas Luiz and carries on his run into the area to poke the Brazilian's return ball beyond Nick Pope.

    Superb.

    Oh my, Jack Grealish.

The Aston Villa captain saunters past about four Burnley defenders, flicking the ball around like it's a balloon on a string and bursting into the penalty area.

It opens up for the swaggering playmaker on his left foot, but Nick Pope gets behind the shot. Wonderful run.
