    Leicester 1-1 Leeds

Six shots for Leicester, four for Leeds as we approach the end of a thoroughly entertaining first half.

Based on what we've seen so far, there's at least one more decent opportunity coming before the interval...

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 39 mins

    Leicester 1-1 Leeds

Luke Ayling is the first player to receive a yellow card for a poorly timed tackle.

Following the free-kick, Leicester earn a corner, which is headed back out but there's nobody waiting to collect the loose ball for the Foxes.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 37 mins

    Leicester 1-1 Leeds

Concern for Brendan Rodgers, as Timothy Castagne looks like he can't continue.

Yep, on comes Ricardo Pereira. Not a bad replacement, mind!

  4. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Leicester 1-1 Leeds

And now it's Illan Meslier's turn to save his side!

Harvey Barnes creates enough space for a shot at the end of a quick Leicester break, but Meslier is able to get his legs in the way to block it at his near post.

    End to end stuff.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 34 mins

    Leicester 1-1 Leeds

Another excellent stop by Kasper Schmeichel keeps the score level!

Raphinha drives a shot low and hard from the edge of the penalty area and Schmeichel gets two hands behind it to push it out for a corner, which Leicester defend well.

  6. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 32 mins

    Leicester 1-1 Leeds

Now it's Leeds' turn to have a goal disallowed for offside!

Leeds have a corner on the left and Kasper Schmeichel initially does brilliantly to keep out Patrick Bamford's header, before the rebound is prodded in - but the flag is immediately up.

  7. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Leicester 1-1 Leeds

Well, half an hour in and this has been everything we hoped it might be.

15 minutes without a goal is a bit much though lads...

  8. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Leicester 1-1 Leeds

    Close!

Jack Harrison's cross into the box loops high following a deflection and Patrick Bamford gets in front of Kasper Schmeichel but just can't get a flick on it with his head.

Schmeichel scrambles backwards to prevent the ball looping over his head too.

James Beswick: *taps on calculator* I'm predicting 6-6 at this rate. Maybe 7-6 with a decent bit of injury time.

Dean Plumley: This Leeds team really does not play with any fear, what a team. Unbelievable style of football.

Harvey Barnes - the new Darren Anderton- just reminds me of him

    Leicester 1-1 Leeds

Things have calmed down ever so slightly since Ayoze Perez' finish was ruled out, but both sides are continuing to battle hard and refuse to give up an inch.

Leeds are now shading the possession stats and are really growing in confidence.

  11. Postpublished at 24 mins

James Maddison has been directly involved in 10 goals in his last 11 games for Leicester in all competitions, as many as his previous 43 appearances for the Foxes beforehand.

Meanwhile, Harvey Barnes has scored seven goals in 20 Premier League games this season - more than he managed in 36 appearances last term (six).

    Jamie who?

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21 mins

Rodrigo can't continue after that knock and Leeds are forced into an early change here.

Mateusz Klich comes on. I hope he's done a thorough warm up before getting involved in this!

John Dunthorne: I have no doubt that Ndidi, is a bigger loss to Leicester than Vardy in games like this

Stuart Dallas' equaliser for Leeds came just 127 seconds after Harvey Barnes had given Leicester City the lead.

If you thought the Leicester goal was good, the Leeds goal is even better! Maddison gives it away, and with the first touch it was glided into the bottom corner. It's typical Leeds, the two passes from Ayling and Bamford split the defence and what a great response!

    Here we go!

What a response this is from Leeds.

Luke Ayling finds Patrick Bamford with a ball from the right, and Bamford curves a pass to Dallas who sweeps home to bring his side level.

    Harvey Barnes

    Harvey Barnes is on fire!

A swift Leicester move sees Barnes drive forwards from near the halfway line, before laying the ball off to James Maddison.

Maddison quickly returns it into the path of Barnes who takes a touch to get the ball out of his feet before shooting low past Illan Meslier.

    Great goal.

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

    This is nice and competitive.

James Maddison attempts to thread a pass through the Leeds lines, but any pass into space is being immediately closed down by a white shirt.

    Leeds holding firm.
