    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

Ezgjan Alioski does well to beat Marc Albrighton to a ball over the top, but Illan Meslier boots the ball out for a throw-in to invite more pressure on the Leeds box.

Leeds win the ball back and break quickly, Patrick Bamford producing a lovely touch to bring the ball down, but Stuart Dallas' return pass rolls out for a goal-kick.

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

While Leicester are eyeing second place, Leeds can move 15 points clear of the bottom three if they can take all three points today.

That would be some safety net (you know, just in case) at the halfway stage of the season.

The visitors have their first real spell on the ball and are building patiently from the back.

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

It's all Leicester for now, despite Leeds' hard work to rush the Foxes in possession.

Lovely, crisp passing as you'd expect from Brendan Rodgers' side in the opening five minutes.

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

James Maddison whips in the free-kick to the right of the Leeds penalty area and actually takes aim despite the angle.

It's hit hard but sails just over the crossbar.

I am really excited by this game, both teams are exciting to watch, good on the eye and I am expecting a great game.

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

Leicester are unbeaten in their past five meetings with Leeds in all competitions and have won the last three.

Brendan Rodgers' side cruised to a 4-1 win in November, Youri Tielemans scoring twice in that one.

A bright start by the hosts earns them a free-kick in a promising position here...

Here's a reminder of how Leicester and Leeds line up:

  9. 'A different game with no Vardy'published at 13:59 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2021

    Leicester v Leeds (14:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Leicester completely dismantled Leeds when they met at Elland Road in November but the difference this time is that Foxes striker Jamie Vardy is out injured.

Vardy was instrumental in the Foxes' first two goals that day, and scored their third one himself.

Without him, it should be a lot closer.

Leeds got a badly needed win over Newcastle in midweek to get back on track after three straight defeats, and they are a dangerous side when their tails are up.

    Lawro's prediction: 1-2

    Thanks Neil.

It's all about keeping the pressure on Manchester City for Leicester today.

A win will move them up to second, two points behind the leaders - though they will have played one game more. They can also open up a seven point cushion to fifth-placed West Ham, before the Hammers take on Liverpool later.

Leeds, in 12th, can move level on points with Southampton directly above them in the standings.

    Outstanding goal!

Marcos Alonso marks his first start since September with a breathtaking finish. He's on the edge of the six yard area when he chests the ball on to his knee and turns to smash it over Nick Pope into the corner of the net.

    Quality!
