Good play from Curtis Jones, that's what he can do. Give Mohamed Salah half a chance and he will score - great feet from him. You saw from his left foot, the angle we are at here, once you show him on his left foot he was going to score - and it's a great finish.

    Mo Salah

    They've got the breakthrough!

Superb stuff by Mo Salah, who creates space for himself before arrowing the ball from an angle beyond Lukasz Fabianski.

It came after an assist by Curtis Jones, who has only just replaced James Milner.

    West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

Great challenge by Craig Dawson on Divock Origi to launch a Hammers attack which ends with Michail Antonio firing inches wide from the edge of the box. That was close!

    West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

Another glimpse of goal for Mo Salah as he gets the better of Angelo Ogbonna to meet a long punt forward. It's a comfortable gather for Lukasz Fabianski but Liverpool are finally playing with real purpose.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 53 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

Soucek, by the way, was booked for the foul that had Thiago yelping in pain. Good advantage played by the referee.

Good play, that's what Divock Origi can do. I thought it was a goal for Mohamed Salah, but great defending from Aaron Cresswell, it's what he has been doing all season.

It's been a bright start, and Origi looks really good - he's started the second half very sharp.

    West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

This is much better by Liverpool.

They're showing some much needed urgency and Mo Salah smacks another attempt narrowly wide.

  8. Postpublished at 50 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

    A huge chance for Liverpool.

The referee waves play-on after Thiago is hacked down by Tomas Soucek and Divock Origi finds Mo Salah whose first time shot is blocked by Aaron Cresswell. That was heading for the back of the net.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 47 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

Thiago almost finds Trent Alexander-Arnold with a clever delivery but was the Reds player off-side? There's a bit more hunger about the visitors. Jordon Henderson is hacked down by Declan Rice which earns the West Ham player a yellow card.

I am enjoying all these Premier league training sessions but I can't wait for the real matches to start again.

John: Shaqiri and Origi simply are not good enough. I can't wait for Jota to be fit again in couple of weeks. I feel he would make a big difference in these tight games.

Michael Greenfield: Too many times Liverpool have had nobody in the box. Shaqiri isn't a 9 or even a false 9. Need a presence in the area and speedier passing and movement in the final third.

  14. 'Their last goal killed it'published at 17:26 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2021

    Leicester 1-3 Leeds

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We made a good start, a fantastic goal from Harvey Barnes who was a fantastic threat for us. We didn't close the space quick enough and their goal is too easy from our perspective. We have to close the space quicker once we give the ball away. We still had opportunities but didn't manage to score. Their last goal kills the game."

On switching to a back three at half-time: "I felt if we had a back three in place it would allow us to attack the game and we started the second half well. Of course when they score the goal it made it difficult for us."

On missing Jamie Vardy and Wilfred Ndidi: "Make no mistake, we have won games without Jamie. We just were not good enough to get the result today."

  15. 'Bamford cares more about the team'published at 17:24 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2021

    Leicester 1-3 Leeds

    Leeds United

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa, speaking to Sky Sports: "The game was similar to what we expected. We were able to construct some of the things that we wanted to but they also created danger according to their characteristics.

"In the second half, until we adapted to their change, in those 10-15 minutes it was difficult to neutralise them. After that, we got better with recoveries of the ball, managed to score but immediately after that they deserved to score for the draw.

"For the next 10 minutes we managed to play an even game. The final part of the game was easier."

On Patrick Bamford ending his goal drought: "For a goalscorer it is very important to get back scoring and what I valued the most was in Jack Harrison's goal he valued the pass more than the goal which is not usual for a goalscorer. It describes more about Bamford than anything that he cares more about the team."

We still have another game to come after this. How will Spurs cope do without Harry Kane. They kick-off at Brighton at 19:15 GMT.

Time for some more reaction from Leeds' terrific 3-1 win at Leicester.

    West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

It's been a good half. West Ham have defended really well. Overall David Moyes will want West Ham to be a bit better in possession.

Jurgen Klopp will want Liverpool to be far more clinical.
