It was a big chance. I think Antonio was in his way, Benrahma couldn't get the shot away.

If not, Benrahma would've opened up his body and played it into the net.

Alarm bells in the Liverpool defence as Pablo Fornals fires the ball towards the net. Andrew Robertson, who is standing in front of Alisson, is able to head it clear.

A half chance for the visitors as a cross is floated into the box and Mo Salah meets it. Wide. I reckon Lukasz Fabianski would have got that anyway. It was pretty tame.

Crisp, sharp passing by Liverpool but West Ham are so well organised. David Moyes has got his players working hard for one another. This is a very different Hammers team compared to recent seasons.

I'd love to say this is edge-of-your-seat five-star entertainment.

It's more a slow-burner. A game dripping in intrigue which has yet to ignite into life.

This is a familiar story. Liverpool are bossing possession but they're not doing too much with it. Lukasz Fabianski has yet to make a save.

Liverpool work a set-piece well and the ball falls invitingly for Thiago who lashes it into a nest of claret and blue shirts.
