    Belgium 2-1 Wales

Wales hold a good defensive line to catch Belgium offside. Close to first-half stoppage time.

I do think if Wales get the ball on the counter they'll have opportunities - at the moment they're just giving the ball away too many times.

    Almost 80% possession for Belgium.

    Belgium 2-1 Wales

Kevin De Bruyne almost skips through the Wales defence.

A chance to regroup at 2-1 at half-time would be most welcome for Wales right now. You fear Belgium will create another big chance before the break.

    Belgium 2-1 Wales

Thorgan Hazard fires over after some patient build-up play. Becoming a tough night for Wales, this.

Harry Wilson seems ok though, so that's something.

    Belgium 2-1 Wales

Another injury concern for Wales and this time it is Harry Wilson who is down.

He's been so bright, it would be another big blow if he comes off.

Cardiff won't be too happy either.

Belgium have controlled the ball through midfield. When you play against the top teams it's important to wrestle it away else they'll start to play, pick spaces and play passes that can hurt you. Wales need to tighten up there.

    Belgium 2-1 Wales

Almost a break for Wales, but Harry Wilson just overruns the ball.

    Belgium 2-1 Wales

Starting to look like a game between the number one side in the world against a team missing a key defender (Ben Davies) and two key midfielders (Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey).

    Belgium dominant.

We just mentioned the surface, Connor Roberts is looking down at it. Originally he's goal-side of Thorgan Hazard but loses his footing and it's a free header back across Danny Ward. A really disappointing goal to concede.

    Thorgan Hazard

    It's been coming.

Thorgan Hazard has a free header at the back post when Connor Roberts slips and it's easy for him to head in Thomas Meunier's teasing cross.

It's been a good start for Wales, I've been encouraged by the front three. My worry is Kevin De Bruyne is getting too much space, it's something Robert Page will have to look at. If they get the ball to him he's one touch on the back of the Welsh midfielders with good runners in behind.

    Belgium 1-1 Wales

Wales looked so good for 20 minutes, despite losing Joe Allen to injury, but Belgium remained incredibly calm and composed and they now look menacing, Wales are very, very deep.

I know it was only 22 minutes into the game but that goal was coming, wasn't it?

Kevin De Bruyne is a wonderful player.

We've said before when Wayne Hennessey hasn't been playing he's come in and done well for Wales so I am surprised they've gone with Danny Ward. There's obviously a reason for it but I am surprised.

I did flag earlier that not going man-to-man on KDB seemed a big risk. He's now dominating this game, Wales are under the cosh.

Talking about a lack of pressing from a Belgium team, we just saw the exact same thing from Wales. Can't allow that time for De Bruyne from the edge of the box. Wales desperately trying to get a block and it's fired across the far side past Danny Ward.

What a hit, what a player.

Kevin De Bruyne works the ball onto his right foot and hammers home from 25-yards. A terrific strike.

I don't think the Belgium team have worked Wales out yet. De Bruyne is struggling to get on the ball.

People like me, who thought 'Wales are silly not starting Kieffer Moore', well we look like idiots at the moment; Wales' attacking trio look great so far.
