    England 4-0 San Marino

The tempo has dropped a bit now. San Marino can't really drop any deeper and England aren't quite as penetrating as they were in the first half.

Make that nine shots now for Jesse Lingard - the most since Wayne Rooney against San Marino in October 2014 (13).

Jude Bellingham also has a go from the edge of the box but it's an easy one for the San Marino keeper.

Just turn the sound off and pretend this is England v France in the World Cup final. Best England performance since '66!

It's a fantastic feeling and a fantastic story for Ollie Watkins. He has been a real credit to Aston Villa this season.

His endeavour and willingness to work even in barren periods has probably made Gareth Southgate think, 'he will do for me'.

Jude Bellingham has made a few nice passes since coming on at half time. He slips a decent one through for Jesse Lingard but England can't add a fifth.

Ollie Watkins is on for his England debut. He replaces Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

    No hyphenated hat-trick. Booooo

I asked Opta the important question...

Has a player with a hyphenated surname ever claimed a hattrick for England?

    The answer is no.

Excellent touch from Phil Foden to control the ball in the box. He brings it down with the side of his foot mid-air and he cuts it back inside but can't find a teammate.

    He's technically so, so good.

  10. World Cup qualifying latestpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March 2021

It is all going very nicely for England tonight. Not only are they winning, but Poland - the side widely seen as their main rival in the qualifying group - are losing to Hungary. Adam Slazai has made it 2-0.

Meanwhile, in Duisburg, Ilkay Gundogan has continued his fine club goalscoring form for his country, making it Germany 3-0 Iceland.

Spain have been pegged back, though, with Anastasios Bakasetas levelling for Greece.

    Another niche Dominic Calvert-Lewin stat...

He is the first Everton player to score a brace at Wembley since Gary Lineker in October 1985 vs Turkey.

James Ward-Prowse could pick someone out in a mosh pit.

He puts another decent ball in but Dominic Calvert-Lewin is beaten to it at the near post.

James Ward-Prowse takes a free-kick quickly, feeding in Jesse Lingard on the right and catching San Marino off guard.

Lingard tries to drill it across goal but slices it straight at the keeper.

It's a brilliant run from Jesse Lingard. Dominic Calvert-Lewin found himself with nobody around him. He could not miss.

    A nicely worked goal.

Ben Chilwell plays a lovely ball through to Jesse Lingard on the left. He stays onside and slides it across to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

    He's got a tap-in from a few yards out.

Conor Coady had a lengthy check over there. Definitely looked like a potential head injury but he's back on now and looks fine to carry on.

No concussion substitutes in place tonight.

Colin Hall: Shrewd move by Gareth Southgate to pick James Ward-Prowse for this game. Can imagine he'll want to be on the right side of a 9-0 hiding for a change...

    That's a low blow Colin...

Tyrone Mings wins the header on an England corner but can only nod it backwards.

He ends up smacking Conor Coady across the head on landing too.

The changes are all like-for-like swaps. It's about getting some of them on the pitch and giving them a feel of the ball at Wembley.
