What a great finish - set pieces normally help England - over the years England have always been a threat at set pieces. John Stones wins the original header at the back post and heads it down. Take nothing away from Harry Maguire though that's a hard skill to do - he's really put his foot through it on the volley. Great goal.

    Harry Maguire

    Harry Maguire to the rescue!

The Manchester United man is there to slam home a rising shot into the roof of the net following a corner. He gets the plaudits, but so does John Stones.

The Man City man looked like the villain, but he is partially redeemed with the header at the back stick to set up his central defensive partner.

It's disappointing to see from an England perspective, but you have to hand it to Poland. They are managing this game now.

It was a foul on the keeper that prevented anything coming from the set-piece. Sorry, a "foul" on the keeper. Barely any contact on him.

People will blame Stones for England being level right now. Actually everyone has to carry the blame. The obsession with possession, it doesn't win you matches goals do. All of the players have either sprinted to the half way line and stopped or been responsible for side passes. If they carried on going forward they would have scored more.

Still no real leaders in the squad, this team cries out for someone like Conor Coady's leadership mentoring the younger players - if he doesn't even make the Euro squad it will be a travesty..

    Straight into the wall.

It was Foden himself who hit it, going for a little dinked effort that failed to beat the defensive line set up.

Foden's eagerness and ability to drive forward with the ball wins England a free-kick on the edge of the box. This is a real opportunity...

Foden tries to lift England with a darting run down the right that is found via a long pass forward. The shot, when it comes, is angled and easily saved by Szczesny.

Oh, Harry Kane nearly makes something from nothing, charging down Szczesny and sliding in on the keeper just after he clears. It is foul to Poland. Could have been a lot worse.

Greg Morter: Very flat performance from England even before the Poland equaliser. As a captain Harry Kane needs to be rallying his team or Gareth needs to change personnel

Ross Matthewman: We were losing control of the game even before the Stones error. England seem to have completely switched off this second half.

The game is being played a lot more in England's half now. Milik heads wide from inside the box after a cross from the left is nodded back into the mixer. That was a chance.
