Pretty dull elsewhere in World Cup qualifying. We've only had two goals with Scotland ahead against Faroe Islands thanks to a John McGinn strike while Iceland are 1-0 up against Liechtenstein - Birkir Saevarsson with the goal.

Harry Kane is now the all-time leading penalty scorer for England with 10, one more than Frank Lampard.

The defender didn't need to touch the ball. Raheem Sterling had overrun it. It's a soft penalty. He caught him just behind the ankle on his right leg.

Looked a pen as soon as Sterling went down. Barnsley's Michal Helik catches the Man City man on the heel and the ref points to the spot.

The Mount-Chilwell combo works again to win England a corner, which Kalvin Phillips whips in and a Poland head nods away.

It's attack v defence at the moment and the latter is very much winning.

One thing you're never going to be left wanting for when you watch England: passes played square.

Poland are frustrating England. They are not moving the ball quick enough.

England are applying most of the pressure here. Foden and Mount are buzzing around, looking to gain possession and shift it forward.

Phil Foden is shoved to the turf around the corner of the box and he looked to beat Grzegorz Krychowiak. There was maybe a little shove, but Foden was off balance. You don't want to see penalties for that.

Mason Mount just rolled in Ben Chilwell. It was a great ball in but Phil Foden jumped a little too early and he was on his heels a bit.

The Chelsea dup of Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell combine down the left, with the former setting up the latter for a cross that Foden heads over from inside the box.

Krzysztof Piatek looks to latch on to a through-ball but is met by John Stones, who is in no mood to let him pass. Would have been fascinating to see the Man City player against Lewandowski. Ah well.

England quickly seize control of the football and set about trying to find weaknesses in the Poland defence. A cross from the left is headed away in the first real delivery into the box.

I'm expecting an England win. They are on a good run and are in good form. I look at the Poland team and just think, England are far too good for them.

England took the knee before the game, while Poland's players touched the "respect" logo on their sleeve. Different approaches, similar message.

Anthems done, pennants exchanged, let's get this show on the road.
