Quote MessageHibs are a well-oiled machine and you can see the pattern of play that's worked on [in training]. It's no surprise they're having a good season.
Hibernian 0-0 Ross County
Christian Doidge and Ryan Porteous throw themselves at a corner in the Ross County area but the assistant referee's flag is raised to signal a foul on goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw after the ball runs loose to Kevin Nisbet.
The Hibs fox has been in the Ross County henhouse on a couple of occasions but it remains goalless at Easter Road.

Quote MessageIt's been quite a nervy start by Ross County. You can see that it's a team short on confidence.
Hibernian 0-0 Ross County
Christian Doidge nods over as Hibernian threaten with an early free-kick.
Ross County already on the back foot in the Scottish capital.
The hosts have started brightly at Easter Road as they search for an early breakthrough.
We've got Motherwell v Kilmarnock (18:15) coming up in our final Premiership fixture of the day/night.
FT: St Mirren 0-2 Rangers
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard declared himself satisfied with another three points.
"We asked the players to own the pitch and to see if we can get back to keeping clean sheets on the bounce and we've delivered that," he tells his club website.
"Out of possession, we weren't caused any problems apart from a few nervy moments, but in the main we've managed it really well.
"In terms of our style, it probably wasn't there for the majority of the game - I thought it was really patchy. But both number nines have scored a goal and I thought Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara were immense.
"In the main we're happy and we move into the weekend in a good place."
Hibernian 0-0 Ross County
Following a minute's silence in tribute to the late Dundee United manager Jim McLean, we're under way at Easter Road.
Motherwell v Kilmarnock (18:15)
Kilmarnock boss Alex Dyer has been speaking about the letter sent to the club which contained racist abuse towards him, which is being investigated by police.
"I don't feel good about it, it's not nice," he said.
"It's in the right hands now and the authorities will deal with it. But it just tells you we've got a long way to go and we'll continue taking the knee because there are people out there who don't appreciate what we're doing.
"It's not new, it doesn't surprise me. It doesn't represent Kilmarnock Football Club whatsoever."
FT: St Johnstone 0-0 Hamilton
Hamilton head coach Brian Rice tells BBC Sportsound that today's performance was "exactly" what he was after.
"It was a hardworking, gritty, nasty Hamilton performance, we got that.
"We had the best chance of the match in the first minute. We are delighted to come away from here with a point. It's a fantastic point for us.
"We look solid, we look strong. The defending started from the front. It was a really good team effort."
On potential January business: "There's scope to do business. We've got to make sure they can go right into the team. Hopefully the ones we are aiming to get in will be ready to go straight in."
FT: Celtic 3-0 Dundee Utd
Celtic manager Neil Lennon says the club "don’t know yet" how serious Christopher Jullien's injury is.
The French defender was forced off in the second half after clattering his knee against a post and is a doubt for the trip to Ibrox on Saturday.
"It looks pretty painful, he was in a lot of pain coming off," Lennon says.
"There’s a lot of swelling, hopefully that will settle over the next couple of days. But it’s too early too say."
FT: St Mirren 0-2 Rangers
Despite the 2-0 home defeat by Rangers, St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin is pleased with his side's progress since a six-game losing streak around the time of the Paisley club's Covid outbreak in September.
"We always knew how difficult a task it was going to be and I don't think we did enough to win the game, but I thought we controlled long periods of the game without really troubling Rangers," he tells BBC Scotland.
"We gave away a couple of cheap goals - one a deflection and one a mistake - but the players gave me everything and I can't fault them.
"The first one isn't going in if it doesn't take a deflection off Conor McCarthy then Joe Shaughnessy's mistake - the boy's held his hands up - gives us a mountain to climb."
FT: St Johnstone 0-0 Hamilton
Despite spurning several chances to win, St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson is pleased with his side.
"The boys were fantastic," Davidson tells BBC Sportsound.
"I'm happy with how they applied themselves. We created so many chances. You've got to take them when they come along.
"All credit to Hamilton, I thought they put their bodies on the line and made it difficult for us to get clear stuff, but I thought we had enough clear chances to take the game."

Quote MessageIt's going to be a big ask for Celtic [against Rangers] if they're not on it. The front three are all chipping in with goals. Rangers are all set up for the derby - at their best, they'll be difficult to beat.
Motherwell v Kilmarnock (18:15)
Kilmarnock boss Alex Dyer is perhaps trying to find an attacking spark given they've managed just one goal in their last five games, all of them defeats.
Striker Danny Whitehall joins Greg Kiltie and Mitch Pinnock back in the starting XI, with Nicke Kabamba, Chris Burke, and Youssuf Mulumbu dropping out.
Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson opts for some continuity, and swaps Devante Cole for Callum Lang. The rest of the XI is the same as started the 1-1 draw with Dundee United.

Hibernian v Ross County (18:00)
Hibernian head coach Jack Ross tells BBC Scotland: "It's a beautiful night for a game.
"Tonight is that opportunity to go higher in the table again. It's about accumulating points at this stage of the season.
"The last six, seven, eight weeks, performances-wise, we're getting better and better. We'll feel we're making gradual progress consistently.
"I played under John Hughes. I know his capabilities as a manager. Given the position they're in, it is about them just trying to get something from games."
