    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    Big chance for Livi.

Ex-Celtic defender Efe Ambrose steams in to meet a corner with the goal at his mercy, but his header is wild and flies well off target. A real centre-back's finish.

    Ross County 2-1 Aberdeen

Matty Kennedy is on the losing side at the moment but he's putting in a fine individual display for Aberdeen.

He skips by two County players but no-one can apply a finish to his cross. Scott Wrtight also has a shot charged down.

There's concern for Aberdeen after Jonny Hayes twists awkwardly and is going to be substituted. Derek McInnes turns to 18-year-old Kieran Ngwenya.

  5. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Anthony Ralston's surge into the box ends with the full-back hitting the deck under pressure from Livingston defender Efe Ambrose, but referee John Beaton is having none of it.

    Ross County 2-1 Aberdeen

Lewis Ferguson's low free-kick is easily collected by County goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw.

Since the re-start Aberdeen have had plenty of the ball, but the final pass just isn't coming off for them at the moment.

  7. CLOSE!published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Celtic carelessly give the ball away and Scott Robinson almost punishes them, curling a shot wide from the edge the box.

The hosts break up the other end and Mikey Johnston has a shooting chance but Scott Pittman makes a superb block.

  8. RED CARD - MacPherson (St Mirren)published at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    St Johnstone 1-0 St Mirren

St Mirren's afternoon goes from bad to worse as Cammy MacPherson is given his marching orders for a second booking.

I don't think the midfielder can complain with either yellow card. Two late challenges.

  9. More chances at Hamiltonpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Hamilton Academical 0-0 Dundee United

Nicky Clark gets into a good position on the edge of the Hamilton box but Dundee United's top scorer is foiled by Ryan Fulton.

Moments later, Hakeem Odoffin's shot is tipped wide by United keeper Benjamin Siegrist.

    Hamilton Academical 0-0 Dundee United

Benjamin Siegrist holds after a well struck shot from Hamilton Academical's Lee Hodson. A decent spell of pressure from the hosts.

  12. goal

GOAL Hibernian 1-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Alan Power O.G

It is perhaps fitting that the breakthrough in such an untidy game comes from an own goal.

Jamie Murphy sets up Josh Doig for a low cross that is met by a sliding Alan Power and goalkeeper Danny Rogers is unable to prevent the midfielder's poke sliding through his grasp.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Hibernian 0-0 Kilmarnock

The game springs to life as Alex Gogic's diving header from a corner to palmed off the line by Kilmarnock goalkeeper Danny Rogers and is thumped clear from in front of goal by Aaron McGowan.

Hibs have started the second half with real purpose.

Jak Alnwick has got to do better there, he should be saving that, but credit to Chris Kane for following it up

GOAL St Johnstone 1-0 St Mirrenpublished at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Chris Kane

What a start for the hosts in this second half!

Guy Melamed flicks a neat ball through to Kane who hammers a volley towards goal from the edge of the box. Jak Alnwick saves but he will be disappointed to only parry it back to Kane who taps home the rebound.

Hearts are well on their way to another win in the Championship, while Queen and the South and Arbroath are struggling to generate much in the way of thrills in Dumfries.

It's been one of those days so far.

  19. Ding-dong battle in Dingwallpublished at 15:54 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    HT: Ross County 2-1 Aberdeen

They've supplied all of the goals today and most of the excitement has been up in at the Gobal Energy Stadium in a cracking contest.

We could definitely do with more goalmouth action in the other four fixtures.

  20. HALF-TIME Ross County 2-1 Aberdeenpublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

It's been a breathtaking first 45 minutes in Dingwall.

The home side have been clinical, twice taking advantage of poor defending to storm into a 2-0 lead.

Aberdeen threw everything at the hosts to try and get a goal back, and they finally got a break right before the half-time whistle when a Tommie Hoban header hit off County defender Alex Iacovitti.
