  1. HALF-TIME Hamilton Academical 0-0 Dundee Unitedpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

One big chance each at the Fountain of Youth Stadium but not a lot else to report.

Ian Harkes should have headed Dundee United in front but was foiled by an excellent Ryan Fulton save and Callum Smith fired over at the other end.

  2. HALF-TIME Hibernian 0-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

That is 45 minutes of our lives we will not get back.

A single effort on target, a languid shot from Paul McGinn straight at Kilmarnock goalkeeper Danny Rogers in the opening minutes, has been the highlight.

Neither side have threatened to score since then as both struggle to cope with a terrible surface.

Tommie Hoban's header hits Alex Iacovitti and goes in at the back post, and right on the half-time whistle Aberdeen pull one back.

  4. HALF-TIME St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirrenpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

It's largely been a half to forgot in all honesty.

Aside from a David Wotherspoon free-kick that whistled just past of the top-left corner and a superb blocking tackle from Joe Shaughnessy to deny Guy Melamed, there hasn't been much to get excited about at McDiarmid Park.

As it stands, St Johnstone's winless run will be extending to 11 games. Callum Davidson's men have to show more in the final third to change that.

  5. HALF-TIME Celtic 0-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

It's anyone's game here after an entertaining and open first half.

Livingston started much the stronger and are a constant menace at set-pieces, but have failed to seriously test keeper Conor Hazard.

Celtic came closest to a breakthrough with Jeremie Frimpong's rasping shot saved.

  6. goal

The visitors double their lead on the stroke of half-time.

  7. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Ross County 2-0 Aberdeen

Blink and you'll miss it in Dingwall in what is a storming game of football.

County's Charlie Lakin drills a shot that takes a slight deflection to go past the post.

Then Aberdeen go forward again. Curtis Main and Scott Wright exchange passes before Wright's shot from close range is saved.

Then Aberdeen have a penalty claim when Tommie Hoban is barged over in the box, but it comes after he had already taken the shot.

  8. Postpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Hibernian 0-0 Kilmarnock

A rare sight at goal at Easter Road, but Paul McGinn's header from a corner loops well over.

Kevin Nisbet is then put clear behind the Killie defence only for the striker to make a mess of what might have been a cross, or a maybe a shot.

  9. Dons look for a responsepublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Ross County 2-0 Aberdeen

Aberdeen are exerting some pressure as they seek a way back. Lewis Ferguson has a free-kick that deflects off the ball and goes just over. Scott Wrights blasts a shot from point-blank range right at the goalkeeper, then sends a free-kick past the post.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen are forced into an early substitution as Ash Taylor goes off holding his back, with Shay Logan coming on to replace him.

  10. Hit the target!published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Hamilton Academical 0-0 Dundee United

Ross Callachan sends Callum Smith in behind the Dundee United defence and the Hamilton striker has the whole goal to aim for but he gets under his shot and sends it high over the top.

  12. ouch!

Postpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Hamilton Academical 0-0 Dundee United

A clash of heads inside the Dundee United box as Mark Connolly and Hakeem Odoffin come together. Odoffin seems to have come off worse and is receiving treatment.

Our 'Ouch!' graphic is getting a good work out today...

  13. What a block!published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirren

St Johnstone's Chris Kane does brilliantly to spin Conor McCarthy and slip through strike partner Guy Melamed.

The Israeli striker cuts onto his left foot and looks destined to hit the target from close range before Joe Shaughnessy gets a vital toe to the ball.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Celtic's Anthony Ralston absolutely cleans out Craig Sibbald with a horribly mistimed tackle.

The full-back is perhaps lucky only to be shown a yellow, and Celtic get another let-off when Josh Mullin bends the free-kick a yard wide.

  15. Staggies press for a thirdpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Ross County 2-0 Aberdeen

County threaten a third goal. Regan Charles-Cook drills a ball across goal but there are no takers. After that though the home side keep the pressure up but red shirts throw themselves in front of the ball to block.

Every time John Hughes' side go forward they look like scoring.

Yet, Aberdeen still look like they may have a goal in them too and Sam Cosgrove knocks a ball across goal that Matty Kennedy is just a yard short of getting to.

  16. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Hibernian 0-0 Kilmarnock

The rutted surface at Easter Road is winning out, with neither side able to create a good goalscoring chance so far.

It also appears to have taken its toll on Hibs' Melker Hallberg, with the midfielder needing extensive treatment after an awkward stumble.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Hamilton Academical 0-0 Dundee United

Ryan Fulton makes an outstanding save to keep out Ian Harke's header for Dundee United. Point-blank range, fantastic reflexes.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirren

Inches away for the home side as David Wotherspoon sees a 20-yard free-kick curl just past Jak Alnwick's right-hand post. What a goal that would've been!

Straight up the other end, Jamie McGrath curls in a free-kick of his own which Joe Sahughnessy glances wide.

  19. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Hamilton Academical 0-0 Dundee United

Still waiting for a good opening at Hamilton. It's a slippy ball on the wet surface and there's a fair bit of wind too. Dundee United look the more forceful but too often their final ball lets them down.

  20. Good savepublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January 2021

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Another decent chance for Celtic. Jeremie Frimpong wriggles free down the right-hand side of the penalty box and his powerful shot forces a smart near-post save from Max Stryjek.
