  1. Talks to move Benfica tiepublished at 12:07 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

Arsenal v Manchester United (17:30 GMT)

    Arsenal

Arsenal and Benfica are talking to Uefa about moving their Europa League last-32 games to a neutral venue to try and combat coronavirus restrictions.

Portugal is on the United Kingdom's 'red list' for travel, meaning players and staff would need to self-isolate for 10 days on their return.

Attempts are being made to find a venue which is both available and fits Uefa's criteria for hosting games.

The first leg of the tie is set to be played in Portugal on 18 February.

Ant S: I know Bruce is in a mess and deluded but I don't think even HE would put Hayden at RB, Manquillo as winger and Fraser in No.10 role. 4-3-3 for me... Almiron & Fraser alongside Wilson up top. Hayden, Shelvey, Hendrick in midfield.

Steven Patrick McNamara: Not excited by Choudhary to Newcastle rumour. Last thing we need is another player who just runs about kicking people. Poor. Fancy Newcastle 2-1 today though, just hope Bruce leaves soon or we'll be a Championship side come next season.

Everton's only defeat in their past 16 Premier League home games against Newcastle was by 1-0 in September 2010 (W10, D5).

The Magpies are vying to complete a league double in this fixture for the first time since the 2001-02 season.

Premier League games between these sides have produced 16 red cards - the only fixture with more is the Merseyside derby (22).

Kyle: If Newcastle play 4-3-3 then I'm happy with that team. A front 3 of Fraser, Almiron and Wilson should be a goal threat. If Bruce has done his usual and it's a back 5 though then it's disgusting. We are way too negative normally. Just have a go.

Chris Lord: First normal day of PL fixtures with a lunch time, multiple 3pm kick offs and evening games on a Saturday for what like a year. Hopefully shows we are winning this battle like how Arsenal will sneak the win tonight!

  7. Can Jones and Saint-Maximin lift the gloom?published at 11:55 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    Everton v Newcastle (12:30 GMT)

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport at Goodison Park

Despite a toxic mood on Tyneside, Newcastle boss Steve Bruce said on Friday that he has received some supportive letters from fans, and he will hope his side can improve on their second-half showing against Leeds in midweek as they attempt to earn a first win in 12 games.

We will get to see if new assistant Graeme Jones has provided the "fresh voice" that Bruce has been seeking as he takes his place in the dugout for the first time.

The uplift against Leeds was in part down to the introduction of Allan Saint-Maximin, who will sit on the bench behind Jones next to the freshly-shorn Joelinton.

Wouldn't blame him if he wears a hat for the warm-up. Mind you, there is a bitter wind blowing across the Goodison pitch so he might not be the only one!

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Aston Villa's midweek defeat against Burnley was a real thriller, and this should be another good game.

Both of these sides are attack-minded, and they both have individual match-winners too. I'm going for a Saints win, but it is very hard to call it.

    Prediction: 2-1
