    Reading 1-1 Brentford

Hour mark reached - another Reading corner forced.

Michael Olise once more with an inswinger from the right after the ref has to have a word with a few players getting a bit too touch-tight in the box.

But, you've guessed it, another poor delivery at the near post as it's cleared.

    Reading 1-1 Brentford

    Better from Reading.

Michael Olise has a shot from just outside the box that takes a deflection leaving David Raya helpless and to his relief, it goes behind for another corner.

Raya then has to come out and punch it away from danger.

    Reading 1-1 Brentford

Reading's turn to win a corner.

Andy Yiadom takes on Rico Henry down the hosts' right and puts him under pressure to knock it behind.

But Michael Olise sends it too close to David Raya this time. Bit of a pattern developing here.

  4. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Reading 1-1 Brentford

    Brentford corner.

Tarique Fosu forces it as his ball in deflects off Michael Morrison.

Can they make this one count? Rafael clings on to it two-handed as it floats too close to his crossbar from Vitaly Janelt's delivery.

Rico Henry wins a free-kick down the left in Reading's half as Andy Rinomhota trips him.

But another poor delivery from the visitors. Sigh.

  6. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Reading 1-1 Brentford

Reading with pretty much all the ball since we restarted, very similar to how the first half began.

But, they're unable to find a killer through ball so far as Brentford keep their shape.

  7. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Reading 1-1 Brentford

Reading win a free-kick inside the Brentford half but Michael Olise fails to make the most of a chance to hang a cross into the danger area.

That's been a characteristic of this match so far from both sides.

  8. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Reading 1-1 Brentford

    And we're off again.

No changes from either side at the break as Brentford gets us restarted.

Not long to go until the restart.

A reminder that as it stands, Brentford will go top of the table this evening on goal difference ahead of Norwich.

There were two other Championship fixtures on Tuesday night.

Both took place in south Yorkshire but it was The Owls rather than The Millers who were happier in that part of the world come full-time.

Sheffield Wednesday hauled themselves out of the relegation zone with a 2-0 win against bottom-placed Wycombe while Cardiff City continued their resurgence under Mick McCarthy with a 2-1 win at Rotherham United.

Managers Veljko Paunovic and Thomas Frank appear to exchange a few words before eventually going their separate ways off opposite ends of the pitch.

Seems they had a few things to debate there as the half drew to a close.

    Tense scenes.

    Terrific first 45 minutes.

Two sides really going at it.

Reading went ahead from the spot through Lucas Joao and then Josh Dasilva levelled things up with a decent solo effort.

    Reading 1-1 Brentford

Great run and shot by Reading midfielder Josh Laurent.

Weaves past a couple of players before a right-foot strike. It's straight at David Raya who takes the sting out of it with a parry before Rico Henry knocks the rebound behind for a corner.

Reading don't capitalise on it though as Brentford heads clear once more.

  18. Postpublished at 44 mins

Michael Morrison nearly caught out for taking a bit too much time to get rid of the ball in his own half.

    Five minutes to the break.

Lived up to the pre-match billing this one so far. Two sides very evidently in confident form.
