    What a leveller!

There is a great example of how dangerous a side Brentford are out of nothing.

Josh Dasilva goes on a run down the right wing, outpaces Josh Laurent on the edge of the penalty area and then goes for goal lining it up on his left foot.

Finds the far corner with a lovely finish across goal.

    Reading 1-0 Brentford

Decent break on the cards for Brentford.

Tarique Fosu lines up a ball across the area after finding space down the right. Bryan Mbeumo was the intended target at the far post, but Andy Yiadom did well to slide across to block it.

Straight up the other end and Omar Richards sends a beautiful ball acorss the six-yard line, which is inches away from being tucked home by Lucas Joao.

    Eventful stuff.

    Reading 1-0 Brentford

Well then, Brentford fell behind at Middlesbrough on Saturday before storming back to win 4-1 at the Riverside.

Reading will need to be wary of their response but on the balance of play so far, they deserve their lead.

    Reading ahead - just!

Lucas Joao steps up from the spot and side-foots it towards the bottom left corner.

David Raya is well across and for a second, he looks like he's done enough to palm it round the post, but it just has enough power to get through him.

Joao's 16th league goal of the season has the hosts in front.

Second corner not much better from Brentford.

Both sides not quite finding their range so far with the deliveries.

Up the other end, Reading nearly pounce on the break but David Raya gets off his line quickly to smother the ball on the edge of his penalty area as Lucas Joao threatens to nip in.

Reading certainly the side moving the ball more freely so far.

Michael Olise, Ovie Ejaria and Lucas Joao all combining nicely in the build-up for the hosts.

Brentford having to try and not over-commit in the tackle too early.

But Josh Dasilva loses patience and fould Ejaria after some concerted pressure.

Plenty of noise coming from the touchline in Reading's dugout early on.
