Now then, was it blocked by a defender's hand?

It certainly looks that way and referee Rob Jones is over to his monitor.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

    Sheffield United 0-0 Bristol City

Oh how has that stayed out? Billy Sharp picks out David McGoldrick in the area, he fires across goal and it is blocked on the line and hits the bar!

A shot then comes in and again it's cleared off the line!

    Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Have I mentioned this is a belting tie?

Not for the first time this season Dominic Calvert-Lewin gets his side out of trouble after lashing past Hugo Lloris.

Could the Spurs keeper have saved that? Everton don't care.

    Everton 0-1 Tottenham

Everton just about survive another lightning-quick Tottenham counter-attack. Steven Bergwijn is away and has support from Son Heung-Min whose attempt flies off a blue shirt and loops narrowly over the bar for a corner.

The snowfall has gone up a notch at Bramall Lane but the game has gone down a few. Nothing much happening.

  11. Olsen having to workpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

    Everton 0-1 Tottenham

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Goodison Park

Everton goalkeeper Robin Olsen was criticised for the mistake that gave Scott McTominay a goal at Manchester United on Saturday but he is doing well so far tonight with some decent saves.

Carlo Ancelotti's side had a bit of a flurry but Spurs still looking the more dangerous team.

James Maddison is now warming up. Please.

  13. CLOSE!published at 20:45 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

    Everton 0-1 Tottenham

And the saves keep on coming!

We've already seen two top-notch pieces of goalkeeping at both ends of the pitch and Robin Olsen does ever so well to beat away Son Heung-Min's ferocious attempt.

This is a proper ding-dong tie.

    Everton 0-1 Tottenham

After a crazy start, it's all gone a bit quiet at Goodison. Everton have come back into this but Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld are frustrating the hosts.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

    Sheffield United 0-0 Bristol City

    Almost brilliant.

David McGoldrick hits a first-time curler from about 25 yards, it is up and over the head of Max O'Leary but always just doing too much and if drifts wide.

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

James Justin is some player, surely he'll be in the next England squad? He's playing on the left of a back three tonight but pops up in the centre of midfield and chips a beauty of a pass into the run of Ayoze Perez but Christian Walton just gets there first. Both men look in pain. Good keeping.

  18. Watch Spurs take the leadpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

    Everton 0-1 Tottenham

Everton's defence failed to turn up for the opening few minutes and Spurs took full advantage.

  19. Postpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

Dan Burn! Ooooh almost a crazy own goal as the giant defender swings to clear at the back post and sends the ball right across goal and a yard wide.

    Sheffield United 0-0 Bristol City

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Sport

Sheffield United have been doing all the right things, all the right build up play and they look synchronised - they just haven't executed well in the final third.

We didn't mention Rhian Brewster much in the first half but he did start well we just didn't see much else from him.
