    All chiller, no thriller.

Ayoze Perez wide left for Leicester, he takes a heavy touch and then follows through high on Pascal Gross and Mike Dean shows him a yellow. That was knee-high, a clumsy one. Perez may have slipped to be fair.

Is Gareth Bale getting the Dele Alli treatment?

He trained on Tuesday and is fit but not involved in the 20 at Goodison.

Brighton still playing the sharper football, they attack down the left and when Jakub Moder sweeps in a cross Andi Zeqiri volleys over. Bit of an overhead kick of an effort.

Harry Kane is back from injury - and Tottenham really do need him.

Everton's form has, generally, been better in the past few weeks but they have still dropped some silly points at Goodison Park.

I have a feeling this one will go the distance, and will be decided on penalties.

Prediction: 1-1 after extra time - Tottenham to win on penalties

Kane starts on the substitutes bench at Goodison.

John Lundstram whacks in a swerving shot from a mile out but it's straight at Max O'Leary in the technicolour goalie shirt. We're in need of a goal in both of these games.

Carlo Ancelotti has only been at Everton 14 months but he's already growing tired of answering a question that won't go away: When will the Toffees win a trophy?

"We are working for this," said Ancelotti, who has been reminded more than once that it was way back in 1995 when the club had major silverware to show off.

"Evertonians are desperate to win a trophy. What I can assure them is we are do everything to try to have a trophy as soon as possible."

Joe: Ian, I have have a pencil and a pair of gloves you can borrow.

Marcus: Brewster hasn't scored and cost Sheffield United £23.5m. Surely one of the biggest flops in recent times?

Chris: Bale is not even in the Spurs squad. As much as I’d love to be wrong the guy just doesn’t have it anymore. It was a punt worth taking but let’s move on and spend the wages on someone who will really add something to the team.

Just not clicking for Leicester who look miles off it. Youri Tielemans looks for movement ahead of him, there is none so he shoots wide from 25 yards out.

What a signing Jayden Bogle looks to be for Sheffield United, he's looked superb every time I've seen him. He now pulls out a Zidane style pirouette on the edge of the area and feeds in Billy Sharp - but the offside flag stops the fun.

Brighton are having the best of this. They've beaten Spurs and Liverpool of late of course and they fancy a very smart hat-trick.

Bristol City full-back Jack Hunt fouls his man and comes off worse, he limps away like a tin man but he'll be able to carry on.

City then launch in a long throw and the ball pinballs around inside the area before Sheffield United get rid.

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

Brighton counter really well from a Leicester corner and they get men forwards, eventually it comes to Jakub Moder and he can only stab a shot wide from about 16 yards. Decent chance - Wilf Ndidi put him under pressure which made all the difference.

  17. 'Brewster is a PL player'published at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

    Rachel Brown-Finnis

I don't think the ceiling of Rhian Brewster's capabilities is the Championship - he is a Premier League player. It's a great difference in pattern of play between this and what he was playing at Liverpool.

It's a different role he's having to learn and Chris Wilder has faith in him, you can see that in the number of games and minutes he has played. He knows how much it will mean to Brewster in terms of confidence and getting a run going.

Decent little spell from Brighton - Andi Zeqiri puts in a testing cross which is not dealt with and Adam Lallana is able to get a shot away. He puts it high and handsomely over the top though.
