Paul Collins: Wolves losing again... I stick by what I said a week or two ago. They will struggle win another game unless other team has a sending off. Beat Arsenal with help of a farcical Luiz red, rubbish before that though. Only other wins this year were vs Palace and Chorley.
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
There were a few muted calls for handball after that Romeu effort, with some Saints players saying the ball hit a Wolves arm. It did, but not in a way that could be deemed worth a penalty. Totally accidental and with zero time for the home player to do anything to get his arm away from the rising ball.
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
Inevitably, space is opening up for Saints now as Wolves press for the equaliser. Redmond gets away again and wins a corner via a deflection. It is nodded on and Oriel Romeu has the chance to poke an effort goalwards, but can't get the requisite power on it.

Stuart Armstrong is full of running tonight, he has really impressed me. He's been crucial for them this season, and picks the right pass nine times out of 10. The only thing is that finish will have disappointed him.

Fabio Silva's time will come - he is 18, in new surroundings but he has potential and will score goals.

What a save! Nathan Redmond beats the offside trap to run in on goal. He checks back to take the backtracking Max Kilman out of the equation and fires low at goal, but fails to find the target thanks to the well-placed and alert figure of John Ruddy.
It is a save that keeps the last eight as a realistic possibility for Wolves.
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
Here is the moment that separates the two sides, as we head into the last 25 minutes...
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
Here comes two Wolves changes. The aforementioned Adama Traore is on for Morgan Gibbs-White, while Willian Jose replaces Fabio Silva. Very different and potentially more potent challenges for Saints to tackle.
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
Wolves' turn to get into a mess at the back. The Saints pressure forces a mistake on the right, allowing Bertrand to find Ings on the edge of the box. The turn is sharp but the shot tame and easily saved.

Danny Ings is back helping his defence - you can have the best talent in the world, but you have to work hard. What an example he is.
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
Adama Traore is stripping off layers. Looks like one of those Wolves big guns is about to be introduced.
His are seriously big guns.
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
Danny Ings is a proper grafter. Not content with running the line up top, he's also happy to track back and prevent Fabio Silva getting away in Saints territory. Take a bow, Danny son.

Excuse me but did I see Saints finally get a legitimate goal granted after VAR?
David, surprised fan
James Pragnell: What's this? A VAR decision that goes in our favour!??
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
To be fair to Wolves, they're done well since the goal. They work Gibbs-White into a shooting chance in the box but his touch lets him down and he then fouls a defender on the stretch.
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
Big chance for Wolves. Southampton's defender Mohammed Salisu gets in right mess trying to play out from the back and allows Gibbs-White to nip in. His cross is there to be hit but is side-footed over by Fabio Silva under pressure.
Wolves 0-1 Southampton
Wolves look to hit back from the free-kick, but Ruben Neves went too early to try and latch on to the delivery. He is rightly flagged offside.
