Mike W: Harsh on Liverpool that Henderson is injured when they already have Salah missing

Roberta-lyn: At what point do you start looking to see who ran over the black cat, this season, because if it wasn’t for bad luck.... We’d have no luck at all?!I’m surprised Klopp isn’t laughing hysterically prior to the tears?!

Bob: Liverpool fans crying about injuries, all teams suffer this. Wasn't there just a transfer window where clubs can buy players, did Liverpool forget about it ? Think being cheap is coming back to haunt them.

Can't understand the negativity from so called Liverpool fans - since the goal Liverpool have been on top & but a fantastic save or two they would have been in the lead .

    Qaisar

People are so quick to dismiss other teams problems, due to tribalism mainly - but this is an absurd amount of injuries for Liverpool. How anyone can try and say it hasnt derailed them is bewildering!

Prk: Jurgen Klopp seems to be paying the price of not rotating his players enough in the past two seasons with all these injuries.

Tom: Henderson another victim of the CB crisis, Fabinho and Henderson both now suffered hamstring injuries because of the different requirements after moving back. Anyone who says this season hasn't been dictated by our injuries is deluded.

Simon: With Henderson going off I make that Liverpool's first five choice centre backs now injured. You've got to laugh or cry

Liverpool just need to up the tempo a notch and they'll be right back in with a chance of taking all 3 points.

    Stephen in Bradford

As an Everton fan what a great start! However the match is at Anfield and this is Liverpool so I can't understand all the negativity from Liverpool fans. Thought they'd be more supportive. There's a long way to go and Everton aren't shy at leaking goals.

Robbie: Whatta a save that is from Pickford.

Rob: Credit where its due that's a sensational save from Pickford

Lewis: I remember when Liverpool beat Chelsea at the Bridge in 2008, ending our long unbeaten at home streak (which we still have the record for) and instantly it seemed like less of a fortress and I wouldn't say we've ever made it a fortress again since

Running Detective: Another 10 goals for Everton and they will leapfrog Liverpool in the league, is that right?

Neil: LFC once again too slow getting going in the match vs Everton. So much lack of intensity, but why???

Tuntu: Liverpool players have the energy but look short on confidence. Some of them already look dejected within 15 minutes!
