Recently feels like teams have been going into games against City just thinking of damage limitations. Arsenal last week and now West Ham in the second half never really look like they're giving it a go and seem content that a narrow defeat to this City side is a "good result" when it clearly isn't - the psychological benefits of a winning run.

Two changes in fact. Michail Antonio and Ben Johnson depart, with Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen on to provide some pace and trickery in attack.

City are starving West Ham of the ball. The life has drained out of the Hammers since that second goal. They're going to make a change, which isn't surprising...

You would have got long odds on Stones, Cancelo or Gundogan being City's best players at the start of the season. Stones is arguably the best centre back in Europe this season.

Alternatively, he's arguably not the best centre-back in his own team.

Ederson is down and getting treatment. It is because he took a bit of a clattering in coming out to claim a high ball into the box.

    Think he'll be OK, though.

It's the centre-back show for City.

This is a brilliant finish, from a man not renowned for them. A corner is cleared by West Ham but the home side come again, spread the ball wide for Riyad Mahrez on the right and his low ball picks out Stones for a first-time, side-foot finish past Randolph.

Oh, right across the face of goal!

De Bruyne does really well to carry the ball into the box before sending a low ball tantalisingly in front of the West Ham net. Aguero is close by but not sharp enough to get a goal-bound touch.
