That was the best chance of the game by a mile, and a really good save from David de Gea. It was really good running from Ben Chilwell - that’s where it came from, the overlap on the left-hand side.

Hakim Ziyech smashes it straight at De Gea, who makes a really good reaction save. That was much better from Chelsea though.

Chelsea and Man Utd have not drawn both league meetings in the same season since 1921-22.

Just saying...

Fred gets a yellow for coming in behind on Mason Mount. He's not happy about it but not sure there's much he can disagree with there!

Ben Chilwell goes scampering down the left and reaches the byline. He cuts it back into the centre for Hakim Ziyech who forces a save from David de Gea from close range.

It bounces out to Reece James but Luke Shaw slides across to make a crucial last-ditch block in the area. BIG chance.

Manchester United are pressing high at the start of this second half.

We've also just seen Callum Hudson-Odoi with some strapping and an ice pack on his knee so hopefully that's nothing too serious.

Thomas Crossman: Quality match so far. Both teams showing intent. Just lacking a goal. Zero goals doesn’t simply mean it’s a poor game.

John Arundell: Hard to criticise the first half, both teams are aware of the importance of three points and not giving a lot away. It will be a poor moment of play that’s going to decide this.

Dikachi: The number of incomplete passes in this game is ridiculous considering the quality on show.

Surely we need some goals in the second half? I can't have another goalless draw today...

The game started well but it’s not really got going again since the penalty appeal.

Daniel James takes a quick throw-in on the right and Scott McTominay can't quite keep it in play on the byline under pressure from Antonio Rudiger.

Rudiger gives McTominay a little hug afterwards as he protests to the referee. The Manchester United midfielder doesn't seem as keen for a hug...

Sophie Gayter: I fear games like this will be more commonplace as the season goes on. Both teams sloppy, fatigued - spent forces. Poor game to watch, but genuinely feel a bit sorry for these guys having to play and deliver entertaining football every three days.

Daniel James whips a cross in from the right but Andreas Christensen meets it ahead of Mason Greenwood.

Bruno Fernandes then nods it down for Marcus Rashford, who is making a run into the box, but N'Golo Kante gets an important touch on it to concede a corner.
