For the first time Chelsea have switched the play. All the United players were on the other side of the pitch.

It was a great cross by Hudson-Odoi, but there was just too much on it for Giroud. It was all about the switch of play though.

And now Hakim Ziyech gets a thump in the back of his head by Victor Lindelof's arm as he goes up for a header.

Olivier Giroud is all good after hurting his back attempting to head that cross. He's back on the pitch, just as Marcus Rashford flips over the advertising boards while trying to keep the ball in play. He trips up over a microphone too but he's fine.

Feel like we need a health and safety check here.

Lewis Chapman: Wouldn't surprise me to see Chilwell and Ziyech hooked at half-time, if not before.

Mickey Bricks: This match started out like a 2-2 but starting to peter out into a 0-0. In desperate need of a goal.

Suzudan: There’s just a huge gap between Man City and all the other PL teams.

Antonio Rudiger gets away from Daniel James nicely then picks out Callum Hudson-Odoi with a lovely diagonal pass.

He puts it in early and Olivier Giroud is inches away with a diving header. He's hurt himself too - crashing into the post in the process.

Chelsea are never going to be horrible to watch with the players they’ve got. They’ve got so much talent in this team, so being solid and hard to beat is actually quite a good thing for them at the moment.

Thomas Tuchel has made Chelsea tough to beat. That might be what gets them into those Champions League spots.

Scott McTominay passes it back to David de Gea, who messes up his clearance and it's straight at Olivier Giroud.

The Frenchman rushes and has a go from long range when he had acres of time and space to take a touch.

It's miles over the bar and Thomas Tuchel loses it on the touchline.

Victor Lindelof plays Luke Shaw in behind with a nice, floated ball over the top down the left.

He can't get a cross away though and it's back with Chelsea a few moments later.

Antonio Rudiger leaves the ball for Ben Chilwell when it's switched over from the right but the two Chelsea players don't communicate so it rolls out for a throw-in to Manchester United. Rudiger puts his arm up to apologise.

Paul Garnett: Pen or not, players from both sides shouldn't be allowed to stand behind the ref to watch the VAR screen. Can lead to undue pressure being put on a ref from either team.

Judith Taylor: When the ref is reviewing on the screen he should use his spray to draw a line 10 yards or so away, and there should be cards for encroachment.

Man Utd are starting to see a lot of the ball now. Still a nice tempo to the game. Marcus Rashford is involved heavily but Bruno Fernandes can't pick him out with a ball over the top.

The pressure is relentless. There's always someone going out to press - a blue shirt when United have the ball and a red shirt when Chelsea have it.

There's a great tempo to the game, but both teams are defending very well.

Fred lays it off to Marcus Rashford, who plays a one-two with Bruno Fernandes on the edge of the box and carries his run into the area.

Fernandes tries to chip it over to him but he's overcooked the pass and it rolls out for a goal kick.

Josh Earl: Absolutely ridiculous. Penalties are being regularly given when players get the ball blasted at their hand full speed, yet somehow Hudson-Odoi purposely controls the ball with his hand and the ref doesn't give it. Zero consistency.

Shane O'Neill: Shocking, shocking, shocking decision. He would have blown for that anywhere else on the pitch.

Andy Walsh: I am 50 years old and I don’t know what the handball rule is now. But I can run a school of 1300 people.

Mason Mount switches it over to Callum Hudson-Odoi on the right as Chelsea break quickly when Harry Maguire loses the ball.

He lays it off to Cesar Azpilicueta. His cross is blocked and it falls to Hudson-Odoi, who then thumps one dangerously wide of the far post.

Thoughts on that decision? Penalty - yes or no?
