Andorra have made an early change. Christian Garcia, who has struggled to get a grip on this game, is replaced by Ildefons Lima.

Daniel: It wasn't long ago we were all up in arms about the ESL. How is that any different to saying nations like Andorra should not be able to compete at this level?

England have started this game really well, they have played with good length and width and at a good tempo to cause Andorra problems.

  6. Poland double their leadpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 9 October 2021

Cristian Brolli gets his fourth international goal for San Marino. Sadly, they've all been own goals.

He has put into his own net to give Poland a 2-0 lead.

He also scored 'for' England in 2015. In fact it's the main fact on his Wikipedia page. He also also helped out Belgium and Latvia.

    Prolific.

Another big chance for England and another big chance for Tammy Abraham. The keeper does well to keep out Abraham's header after Jadon Sancho's cross.

The referee has done England a favour there, really. Every England player was back in their own half, everybody was celebrating on the left-hand side of the pitch.

Andorra wanted to kick-off, and if they had done so England would have essentially been caught out. For whatever reason the referee has held up play and England were able to get back into position.

England have the lead - after a L-O-N-G VAR check.

Phil Foden's radar is in perfect working order and he sends another inch-perfect ball forward for Jadon Sancho to lay off into the path of Ben Chilwell who buries it.

There was a delay of around two minutes while VAR checked to see if Sancho was offside.

Kelliw: Completely disagree with Peter. Andorra have a nation have every right to attempt to qualify for an international tournament.

Steven Blake: I hate it when people go "Andorra shouldn't be in these qualifiers". They have as much right to be in these qualifiers as everyone else. If you don't like these matches and find them boring then don't watch them.

Poland - who are third in England's group - are 1-0 up in their game against San Marino, Karol Swiderski with a header.

That was given after a VAR check of about three minutes for offside.

Big chance. Jadon Sancho takes on his full-back and whips in a superb cross which Tammy Abraham is not expecting.

Moments later Phil Foden sends in another fine delivery which Ben Chilwell heads narrowly wide.

Luke: Why are Saka and Foden playing? They have played every game already this season. They are far and away the top two players of a young group that can easily carry England for the next 10 years, but how many times have we burned out youngsters like these before?

    Andorra 0-0 England

Andorra are not helping themselves. A goal kick sails straight out of play and hands possession straight back to their opponents.

By the way, the hosts are lining up as we thought with 11 players behind the ball.
