It is great to see James Ward-Prowse back in the squad. He narrowly missed out in the summer having played so well to get himself so close.

It is great to see him not only back into the squad, but in the team. He is a player with huge quality and it looks like he will play as a holding midfielder. That will be crucial today, how quick he can get the ball to the feet of Jesse Lingard and Phil Foden behind the opposition midfield, the pockets of space.

After two false starts, off we go.

Having beaten Andorra 4-0 at Wembley last month, you would expect a similar outcome today. England are full of confidence, Gareth Southgate has got an incredible array of talent to choose from, and he will expect a comfortable victory.

England drew 1-1 with Poland in their last World Cup qualifier, conceding in the 90th minute. They haven’t gone two consecutive major tournament qualifiers without winning since losing to Russia and Croatia in November 2007, with those results eliminating the Three Lions from competing at Euro 2008.

Here come the teams led out by the female officials. There are several hundred England fans inside the ground as the sides line up for the national anthems.

Tammy Abraham has fought his way back into the England squad. He's scored four goals in 10 games at Roma and what a statement from him to make that turnaround so quickly. Wouldn't it be a great story if he scored here and gave a real centre-forwards performance?

England trained on the artificial pitch yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours before the fire began. The fire encroached onto the playing surface. That section of the pitch has been replaced.

On the side of the pitch the fire happened, there is a long wall which runs alongside that side of the ground. The dugouts are over on that side but there isn't a stand there.

It backs onto a street with blocks of flats. The VAR machine was right at the heart of the flames but they have got a replacement for that.

Richard Browne: If Wenger wants to fix world football these are the games that we shouldn’t be playing. Have minnows qualify for a proper play-off to reach the World Cup.

The debate around having the World Cup played every two years is certainly something that has dominated the headlines in the weeks leading up to these qualifiers.

England boss Gareth Southgate, speaking to ITV: "This job is always a hot seat! Yesterday's fire was dealt with really quickly. I don't think there was any doubt really about the game.

"The pitch has been laid fairly recently. The ball will roll quickly and we won't use the surface as an excuse.

"This really is the type of game we need players like Jadon Sancho to have the freedom to play.

"Tammy really comes alive in the box."

Tammy Abraham has worked with the squad before. Gareth Southgate likes players who have been with the squad for a number of years, they get know how the squad works. Abraham certainly falls into that category. His quality was never in doubt, his form is what was.

The door is now open for him. Abraham has gone away, gone to Italy, played football and got four goals in 10 games and he is straight back in the England squad

We always thought that Dominic Calvert-Lewin was number two. He is injured at the moment, but there were moments during the Euros that we thought there was an opportunity that he would use Calvert-Lewin and it didn't necessarily seem like he wanted to. It makes you wonder if he believes in him as a back up to Harry Kane.

Maybe he is leaning towards Tammy Abraham and this is a real opportunity for him.
