Nathan: This game is just exposing the lack of squad depth Villa have. Looks like Villa from last season. I would probably get Barkley on now.

Villa haven't created much in the few minutes since the restart. Ross Barkley appeared to be taking some clothes off on the bench.

What a save that was by Kasper Schmeichel! Chris Wood got on the end of a brilliant cross and bullied Daniel Amartey out of the way. That had goal written all over it!

Kelechi Iheanacho scored a lovely goal in the first half and he fancies going one better now as he sizes up an audacious effort from distance. Well over.

The sound effects person is on point as they time the sound of ironic cheers to perfection.

Good block by Phil Jagielka. John McGinn heads the ball into the path of Ollie Watkins but he lets it run to Bertrand Traore, whose shot is blocked by the Blades veteran.

Villa have this complete inability to beat the lower sides in the league, it's getting boring now.

Ready for some David McGoldrick stats?

He is the first Republic of Ireland player to score six Premier League goals in a season since Shane Long scored 10 in 2015-16.

He has scored twice the number of Premier League goals of any other Sheffield United player this season. He has now equalled the Blades' top scorer in the competition from last season.

Excluding penalties, he is the only Sheffield United player to score more than once at home in the Premier League this season. He has four.

  15. 'Burnley have been brilliant'published at 18:54 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2021

    HT: Burnley 1-1 Leicester

    Jermaine Beckford
Ex-Leeds Utd striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's been an entertaining first half but you would expect to see more from Leicester with an attacking threat. But all things considered I think Burnley have been brilliant. I like what I've seen from them.

They are moving the ball well, setting traps for Leicester whenever they get into certain situations and they are putting the ball in the box at any given opportunity.

Both teams have been value for money today but I want to see the ball moved a little bit quicker from Leicester. They should be looking for the front men, especially the threat they offer in behind.
