Marcus Rashford picked up a great position, takes one touch and you expect him to keep it on target. He keeps or low but I don't think he's got the ball just out of his feet enough and can't angle his body.

The eighth shot of the opening 17 minutes as United's Fred blasts in a first-time effort from roughly 30 yards. It takes a couple of deflections and the keeper stops it going wide.

United keeper David de Gea is missing today's game for personal reasons. Lee Grant is their sub keeper.

It could be about 2-2 already. Luke Shaw picks out Marcus Rashford who drags his shot just wide of the near post from inside the box when I was expecting him to curl it the other way.

The whole game so far has been good moments - it's end to end! Superb ball in by Mason Greenwood and even though no one could get on the end of it, there was nothing wrong with that ball. Actually it's a brilliant save by Vicente Guaita.

A mistake by Nemanja Matic with a poor pass - not United's first sloppy ball - but Andros Townsend slips just as he's about to shoot from the edge of the box.

Daddy M&N: Bruno Bruno Bruno, he definitely needs to step up his games.

What a save from Vicente Guaita! Bruno Fernandes lays the ball off for Nemanja Matic. His 20-yard shot is deflected by James McCarthy and is flying towards the top corner but Guaita tips over.

From the corner Harry Maguire's header hits Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani pokes over.

Both Manchester United full-backs are struggling at the moment and Crystal Palace are getting crosses in far too easy. Luke Shaw is struggling a little bit after that early knock on his ankle but Palace are getting too many crosses in for Ole Gunnar Solskaer's liking.

Zebra kit haters are winning by about 1400-1000 thumbs.

Harry Maguire makes a complete shambles of playing out from the back. He gives it straight to a Palace defender. Andros Townsend crosses and Christian Benteke volleys over from eight yards.

Palace have a free-kick on the right wing. Andros Townsend swings it in but Gary Cahill can't quite get his head onto it.

Ooof. Joel Ward and Luke Shaw go for a 50-50 and Ward takes quite a lot of Shaw with the ball.

The United left-back is hobbling but can continue.

Palace try to launch a quick counter as Jordan Ayew feeds Christian Benteke. Harry Maguire holds off his run although ends up on the ground.

I would be shocked if Palace got dragged into the relegation fight. They have 10 points on Fulham at the moment - that's a lot considering they always eke out points, Crystal Palace. My expectation is that they will be secure although I don't think Roy Hodgson will take that for granted.
