    Fulham v Tottenham (18:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Tottenham were very impressive against Burnley on Sunday and if they can repeat that performance, with Gareth Bale, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane all fully fit and playing well, they are going to have too much for Fulham too.

I know Fulham have had a few decent results in recent weeks but it's hard to see them matching the draw they managed with Spurs in January, unless we see a dip from Jose Mourinho's side.

    Prediction: 0-2

  2. 'There is no pressure on Alli'published at 17:49 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    Fulham v Tottenham (18:00 GMT)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho speaking to BT Sport: "That's what we want [to win back-to-back games] but I believe Fulham also wants to keep their good run. For different reasons both teams want the points. We want to win. Maybe you can enjoy a good match."

On Dele Alli: "He's playing well and he's working even better since he came back to normal work with the team. Of course with so many matches we cannot change the structure of the team too much but we must have some rotation. For some it's a feeling of opportunities. There's no pressure on him, it is on the team and we want a result."

    Fulham v Tottenham (18:00 GMT)

Could Tottenham be there for the taking? Not on the evidence of the 4-0 demolition of Burnley at the weekend, but there are a few hints to which Fulham can cling.

Spurs are on a run of three straight away league defeats, scoring just once in that time. Jose Mourinho's side have also failed to win any of their four midweek Premier League games this season (D1, L3).

Fulham were conceding goals for fun in the early stages of this season but they have a new-found defensive resilience in more recent games.

They are vying to keep three Premier League clean sheets in a row at Craven Cottage for the first time in 10 years.

  5. Fulham eye six without defeatpublished at 17:38 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    Fulham v Tottenham (18:00 GMT)

Like West Brom, Fulham are in their best moment of the season. The Cottagers go six top-flight games without defeat for the first time since a run of seven in 2010 under Mark Hughes tonight. In fact, since the beginning of December, only Manchester City, Manchester United and Leicester City have lost fewer Premier League matches than Fulham's four.

Just how big a psychological boost would moving out of the bottom three and above Newcastle on goal difference be for Scott Parker's lads?

  6. King Carlopublished at 17:35 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

West Brom v Everton (18:00 GMT)

No such style issues with Carlo Ancelotti so far. The Italian has made a very positive impression on Everton and fans since taking over in December 2019. This season has seen them kick on impressively, winning 13 of their 25 league matches, which already matches last season's total.

With regards tonight's fixture, Ancelotti has won all three league matches as a manager against West Brom, by an aggregate score of 14-3.

Agree with the symmetry. My neighbour is an Everton fan and I'm up for Spurs, haven't been able watch a match together since Castleford (neighbour) beat St. Helens (me) last March, a Super League game that should never have been played! We'll be shouting through the walls this evening!

The game at the Hawthorns brings Sam Allardyce back up against one of his former clubs in Everton. The Toffees were, in fact, the side the ex-England boss managed last before West Brom brought him out of unemployment earlier this season.

He started pretty well at the Merseyside club, guiding them to a seven-game unbeaten run at the start of his tenure, which included five clean sheets. His side finished eighth in 2017-18, but it would be fair to say his style of play didn't win over the majority of fans and he left after just one season to be replaced by Marco Silva.

Now he's in a right old scrap with the Baggies.

In less promising news for Albion, they have taken just four points from a possible 39 against sides currently in the top half of the table, where opponents Everton currently reside.

In addition, the Toffees can equal their Premier League club record of nine away victories in a season. They are unbeaten in their past eight away league games, winning six and drawing two.

West Brom got absolutely battered by Brighton on Saturday but somehow emerged with the points.

We know what Sam Allardyce's side will do, which is load the box and look to hit Everton from set-pieces and open play, but Everton have got the defenders to deal with that.

Let's start with West Brom v Everton...

While still mired in the relegation zone, nine points from safety, the Baggies are actually in their best form of the season at the moment. Sam Allardyce's side are unbeaten in three matches, winning once and drawing twice.

They have not conceded a league goal in 226 minutes and are looking to record back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since May 2018.

There is a bit of symmetry in the two 6pm games tonight, both of which showcase a side in the bottom three and desperately scrapping against the drop hosting a team chasing European football next season.

    It's 19th v 7th, 18th v 8th.
